How do I get started?

I don't see a faq...

I'd like to build some with a 4-6" spark. Electronics is a lifelong hobby for me and I've always wanted to build something that's incredibly high voltage with a somewhat lower chance of killing myself.

I acquired this xenon bulb. The Internet says it's for runway approach lighting. I think I might build a power supply for it and make it flash.

Where are all the Seamaster Professional chronographs?

Seems all I see posted are sea master chronometers and if it's got a stopwatch it's a speedmaster. Are the Seamasters with stopwatches really that much less popular?

I used to have an off center fed dipole running running from that big tree off the corner of my house across the back of my house and down to the corner of my property. That put the balun about the middle of my house and made the feed easy to route to my radio. It was folded but I did get Australia on 20w once. What are your thoughts for an antenna this time. I'd want it to work up thru 80m if possible and down to 10m or 6m.

Thanks.
