To Anyone that’s played Marvel Tokon, how would you describe it?

Sorry if this is a silly question. I haven’t had time to game lately, but I’ve been looking for a new fighting game to get into and aside from the Avatar Fighting Game, Marvel Tokon is also on my radar…

The thing about Tokon is that I can’t really tell what kind of game it plays most similar to…it looks kind of like Guilty Gear, but it has unlock-able assists which slightly remind me of BBTAG (Resonance Blaze Level) and DBFZ (Dragon Balls).

Can you all that have played it kind of explain what your takeaway was? Are the characters extremely unique like a traditional Blazblue game? If it’s more like BBTAG, I’m sold.

Thank You! 🙏🏽

My Observation? We Aren’t Powerful Enough.

I certainly mean no disrespect to our Ancestors, whose activists movement have paved the way for our current freedoms and equal rights now. But I think the days of strictly peaceful protests have long been over.

…Reading the conversation happening in this Post asking our opinions about Obama, there’s an interesting conversation taking place between two people that brings up an interesting fork in road…

  1. Do We remain in the current system and navigate as best as we can to save ourselves?

Or…

  1. Do we opt out of the system and create something entirely?

I think both can be possible, but eventually the latter will have to occur. Remaining in a system that hardly benefits Us is foolish. Policies that should be common sense are argued and dragged out for Years, sometimes Centuries. Why do We need a Constitutional Law to Dictate that Black People are Equals to others and not Slaves? Moreover, giving a racist your money to Lobby for your interests doesn’t them any less racist, it just makes them a more wealthy racist.

When I say ‘We aren’t Powerful Enough’, I don’t mean that We just have Guns, or We have a lot of Followers, or even have a few People in Congress that look like Us. What I mean is:

- Do We Own The Networks That Promote Black People On A Surface Level? Or Any Network/Platforms? Having a Podcast where We discuss pointless topics like “Black Women don’t respect Us/Black Men aren’t shit” does not constitute any real solutions.

- Do We Have Black Owned Mineral/Energy Businesses and Manufactures That Would Require Other Groups To Have To Conduct Business With Us? Simply put: Do We own the Materials used to Produce things? The People in the Middle East have Oil. What can the ‘Oil’ be for Black America?

- Do we Rally our collective Skills and Talents to encourage each other to keep learning more? The Engineers, The Artists, The Doctors, The Plumbers, etc. We certainly have the people with the talent. I think what stops us here is that once we hit a certain level of success, we abandon the people that we met along the way — I don’t blame Black People for this at all, rather it thinks it’s more so the fault of American Culture in General. Americans are very selfish and individualistic. I see it here on Reddit, too. Nobody cares about a problem until it affects them. If You want to make any kind of strong following, it’s imperative that You care about people other than Yourself — it builds trust….And if You do have the time to teach someone else, no one will force you too, but it would be appreciated. You don’t need to be a formal teacher to instill knowledge — anyone can learn from anybody, and some things shouldn’t be gate-kept for profit (or at all).

…These are just a few points that cross my mind every once in while. Of course security such as guns and gatekeeping would come eventually, if We could hopefully establish these foundations.

A while back, I spoke to two fellow Redditors from this sub on two separate instances…

  1. The first conversation, I mentioned that to this good fellow that I have an interest in studying economics because I believe understanding how Markets operate can be a crucial way to understand how to have a better grasp on major financial shifts and opportunities.
  2. The second conversation, I asked someone else if they believed it would be possible for Black Americans to opt of the current system? They said yes, it would be possible, but it would require Community and Food Sovereignty.

…I know there are many of Us that are worried about the direction that America is torpedoing in - I am too - but there is always opportunity in Chaos if We know how, when, and where to apply ourselves. I

Lastly, as some of You may know, I’ve been really trying to follow Geopolitics, Foreign Policy and explain how what’s happening abroad can give insight into what’s happening domestically…

I know that a lot of Black People feel betrayed by other groups, understandably so…but that should never take away your ability to learn from them, apply what works, disregard what doesn’t work, and bring everything you’ve learned back to Black Communities so We can implement it whenever it’s needed!

…I talk about Israeli’s a lot, but one thing they are good at is learning the game of the Countries they inhabit. Granted they also have money the complexion for protection, but understand this:

Money Will NEVER Be A Substitute For Knowledge, It Will Never Be A Substitute For Strategy, It Will Never Be A Substitute For True Unity.

Capital is a damn good motivator, and it holds a lot of us back from doing many greats things, but not everything you do needs to turn a profit in the beginning. Nobody pays me to learn the things I do, but I do it anyway because I like to and feel like I should. I’m not asking anyone to think the same way, but sometimes just sharing what you know can go a long way towards building and establishing what is needed for yourself and others.

These are My thoughts. I would like to know what You All think?
