After years: The Studio Collective (Digital Marketing Agency), okay na ba?

I am posting this again because my old post was taken down (I believe, by their team or HR na batang graduate para mautusan lang ni Ara Bactat at hindi magkaron ng own thinking)

Especially to students and fresh graduates who badly need money or experience. Please do your research first. Marami pang ibang opportunities!

Based on my experience, marami sa amin ang hindi nabayaran on time, HINDI NABAYARAN even clients. Wala talagang maayos na sistema during our stay. Small team, tapos halos lahat ng trabaho ibibigay sayo. They make it seem like everything is easy just because Canva and AI exist

I'm posting this again para wala nang mabiktima. I wish someone had warned me before, and I listened. Kaso hindi, dahil again bata nga...

WE deserve better!!!

P.S. Posting this again kase I saw someone na nag-speak up sa work and have the courage. Nakakainspire, lalo na kung tayo naman yung nasa tama at ginagawa natin ang trabaho natin ng marangal.

I HAVE A 6-DIGIT JOB NOW WHILE STILL IN COLLEGE (24F)

I have been job-hopping ever since I got laid off last December. The company I worked for was based abroad, and I was under an Independent Contractor setup. The layoff happened because of internal management reasons, and honestly, it was a challenging journey...

I want to share my story to give hope to anyone who's currently job hunting :)

One thing I realized is that alignment is very important. Just because a company looks good on social media doesn't mean they'll have a good hiring process or that they'll be the right culture for you. Sometimes you prepare so much for an interview, do everything right, and still don't get it. It's not always because you're not good enough. Sometimes, it's simply not meant for you...

I had A LOT of interviews. There were times when I got to the final stages, almost got chosen, but they decided to move forward with another candidate. Of course, it was disappointing, but I kept reminding myself that what I am looking for is also looking for me. I always reminded myself to trust and be patient 🙏🏼

Then last night, I finally got accepted into a job where everything I desired became possible:

✨ 6-digit salary
✨ Flexible work (so grateful while I finish my degree)
✨ No time trackers
✨ I'll be working with people from around the world
✨ A team that's respectful, intentional, and one that I can genuinely see myself growing with

For context, I already have experience in e-commerce, influencer marketing, account management, executive assistance, content strategy, and a lot more. Looking back, every experience somehow led me here.

All I have to say is..

IF IT'S FOR YOU, IT'S FOR YOU

While you're waiting, don't stop improving yourself (read, journal, work out, experience life, and talk to people)

Don't rely on just one job application. Apply to roles that are related to your knowledge, experience, and skills. You honestly never know which opportunity is the one that's waiting for you. Be confident, and also stay humble enough to keep learning. Every interview, every rejection, and every experience is preparing you for the next one!

Also, I think having good intentions and being transparent with yourself is very important. Don't just look for work because you need to survive. Look for work where you can genuinely enjoy what you do, grow as a person, and continue learning. :)

I know job hunting can be draining. I've been there.

AND if you're still reading this while waiting for that one email or job offer, for sure Ikaw na next  ❤️
