For now, this is my favorite drama of the year, I just binge-watched the first 3 episodes.
Honestly, I don’t understand how some people found it boring, the narrative structure is really well done.
The fl is especially interesting; she’s a career-driven, hardworking woman who gives her all to her job, and you can truly feel how much she loves what she does.
The characters are quite likable overall, but what really stands out is the nostalgic vibe of the drama. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this hooked on a Korean romcom, I haven’t felt this way in ages. It genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air.
There’s also a very human touch to the story that I really appreciate. I love that it takes place outside the city, with a more rural setting. I can’t wait to see what happens next, the chemistry is already there, and the enemies to lovers trope, I’m absolutely here for it 🌸
What I also really like is that the comedy doesn’t feel forced or cringey at all, it flows naturally and is genuinely funny.
And honestly, I find this drama way better than Perfect Crown. It clearly deserves more recognition, especially for its acting and overall atmosphere.
Also, I really don’t understand people who say the acting is bad. Personally, I find it very believable, and I genuinely feel the chemistry between the actors. With Perfect Crown, for example, I don’t feel anything at all, the acting there feels really off to me.
And seeing Chae Won Bin finally in a lead role is so satisfying, she truly deserves it, and I genuinely think this drama is going to boost her career.
