I tried to “swipe” to the next page of my paperback book and I feel violated.

Im 36. Like many of us, I still prefer a physical paper book rather than reading a screen. But I do have a kindle, and I occasionally read on my iPhone with the kindle app.

Well, this morning, I sat down with a book I haven’t picked up in almost a week. As soon as I finished the first page I was reading, I did the “swipe” motion instead of actually turning the page.

When the next page did not magically appear and I realized what I had just done, all at once I laughed, felt kinda weirdly sad, and oddly violated by technology.

Does this even make sense? It’s so strange to have a new habit overtake an old one. I wonder if anyone has had any similar experiences?

These sweet puppies were likely abandoned, but I’m trying to locate the owner just in case. (Hemphill/Milam)

I was driving home from Hemphill to Milam on 87 when I saw these sweet three ladies literally in the middle of the road. They look cared after, so I’m hoping they just maybe escaped from their yard or something. No collars though. All female. Definitely all same litter.

On the off chance anyone knows someone whole lost three pups, please dm me. They look to be German Shepard/pit mixes so I’m assuming the worst and thinking somebody is breeding fighting dogs and dumping the females, but who knows.

I’ll post an update in a while if I can’t find the owners, I will probably foster them and try to get them adopted as soon as possible. If you or anyone you know is looking to adopt feel free dm as well.

Need recommendations for some dank Souix Falls spots!

Gonna be passing through the holy land of buckness tomorrow for one night only. I’m pretty sure Sean has mentioned one particular bar he used to frequent more than once, but I can’t remember which episode or where he suggested. Where do I go to get turnt up?

I’ll be rolling in around 6ish so a good dinner spot before the buckness begins would be dope as well.

I would love a ‘take a nap’ feature.

I am trying to catch two squid for my ponds at the moment. As many of you probably know, squid can only be caught after 6 pm.

I wish I could get into bed and be given the option to take a nap, and then you get to choose what time you want to wake up that same day.

I’ve just been standing on the dock since this morning. I wrote this whole post and it is still only 4:30 lol.
