Help with irregular Beam/tv audio connection

Beam connected via hdmi (fresh cable swap)
Problem: sometimes when I turn everything on, there is no audio from the Sonos. The only fix I’ve found is to turn off Apple TV and Toshiba TV then turn it all back on again. Sometimes this works after 10 seconds, sometimes it takes a full 10 minutes and multiple on/off attempts for the audio to kick back on. When I hit the volume on the remote the Sonos light will react and blink. Sonos app always shows tv being connected. I rarely use the beam for music.
It is very inconsistant. Sometimes it happens 3-4 times a week sometimes goes months with no problems at all. It’s very irregular but when it happens it’s a huge pain in the ass.
I simply cannot figure out a work around or where the problem lies. I’ve posted this in both the Sonos group and tv group to cover all ground.
Any thoughts? I’ve swapped cables, done hard resets, all the classic bits. Running out of ideas.
