Ketchikan → Juneau → Glacier Bay → Sitka- what are your top 2 activities

We're leaving Saturday for a trip through Ketchikan, Juneau, Glacier Bay/Gustavus, and Sitka.

If you had just one free day in each place, what are the two things you'd most want to do, see, or eat in or near town?

Not necessarily the biggest tourist attractions. I'm interested in what you'd personally choose.

Our route:

  • Ketchikan
  • Juneau (already doing a whale watching tour)
  • Gustavus/Glacier Bay (already doing the National Park boat tour)
  • Sitka

What are your top two?

Amtrack experiences with Rad Bike?

The rules on the Amtrack site are a bit confusing. I'd love to hear the good bad and the ugly for your experience taking your Rad Bike on the train.

Bonus if it's from Seattle.

Alternative to Miniloc Island Resort in El Nido PHP

Last year we had an amazing trip to Miniloc Resort. So good I want to take a group of my beginning adults swimmers there to experience the snorkeling and aquatic experience. However the resort was damaged in a typhoon so I'm looking into alternative locations.

Have you been to Miniloc and to other Palawan resort to give a real comparison?

Here's what I really loved about our experience that would be good for a retreat course:

  • Long shallow protected by FULL of aquatic life directly at the resort beach
  • Food was very good. Handled my spouse gluten intolerance great. We were there for a week and there was a good rotation of items so we were not bored with the same buffet over and over.
  • Local guides were amazing taking us on boat excursions around the island to experience different aquatic life (like swimming with non-stinging jelly fish)
  • It felt very special and taken care of with the pick-up at the airport and boat to the resort. This one is not essential.

Thanks!

Dance Church...or other adult beginning space?

I'm looking to explore my goal to feel like a dancer and saw Dance Church. Do you have experience with this space? Is is good for an awkwardly minded beginner?

Happy to have other recommendations too.

Preferred focus on movement with music, body connection first exact style second.

Thanks!

4x4 wood window frame

I have an old window from my church that is 16 frames and I would like to hang it inside my house. But I need some ideas on what to and how to put items in each frame. When I google for idea's most fit a 'country' theme. Our house is mid century modern. While I don't need that particular style 'country' theme doesn't really fit.

I could use it with family and/or vacation photos but I'm not sure how to put them in the square. I don't plan on putting a backing on and if you stick it to the glass pane you would see it. Help!

Additional Lights

The days are getting shorter and I'm just starting to get back into night bike commuting. I currently have the best head light that comes with my Rad bike.

I'm looking for recommendations that people love for additional light for winter night riding safety.

When I drive I can see it is helpful when bikers have more lights but we are just in passing so I don't really have a good idea what is being used.

I'd prefer something I can have as part of the bike and not on my body.
