Dad passed on July 25th after 2 months in hospice, just 20 days after their 53rd anniversary. I am an only child, and a childless widow. We have no extended family. I am doing the best I can to hold Mom together, but I feel like nothing I do can help Mom enough. Just needing support. I'm exhausted

Babuska Cassandra telling me about how rain water is good for plants, but not for her.

We're under a canopy, sitting together listening to rain is one of our special things we do together. 🥰

*Ring* "Thanks for calling Tractor Supply, No we do not have any Needoh's in stock, This is ___, how may I help you today?"

We literally had 6 cars in the parking lot at 7:30am waiting for us to open do they could buy Needoh's. 😮‍💨

Today I saw my terminally ill Dad 'fight against the failing of the light'. It was emotional violence and loving anguish at the same time. There's not but a couple days left. I'm having a bunch of feelings, and I don't know where to put them all. That is all, just venting to the void.

I just can't seem to get myself together.

As if the air quality isn't bad enough here in NEOH, this idiot across the street started a huge trash fire by *leaning pallets against the base of a tree* and then proceeded to throw scrap lumber on top. For the love of Pete, I had no idea anyone could be that stupid. 🤬

Happy 11th Gotcha Day to 13yo Cassandra! 🥳

We made her favorite gourmet meal. Chicken breast rubbed lovingly with olive oil, grilled to perfectin, sliced at a 30• angle and garnished with dehydrated beef liver. 😋

8m/o Bruce's first sprinkler experience. 🤣

Do not judge him or me because he's not neutered yet. He was born with hip dysplasia and my Vet wants to wait until he's at least 1.5y/o to neuter him to protect his growth plates. I AM NOT a backyard breeder!!
