I'm currently developing top-down action survival with RPG elements, inspired by State of Decay, V-Rising and Hades - Red Meridian. Build a sci-fi base and defend peasants in a medieval world.

For more info about Red Meridian, you can watch my devlog I just did, covering game mechanics and a bit of the story: https://youtu.be/23ovViQqr1M

And you can wishlist here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3842360/VALKYRA_Red_Meridian/

Thanks for taking a look.

[RevShare] Experienced Unity developer forming a small senior indie team for a fast commercial project

Hi! I’m an experienced Unity developer looking to form a small remote team to create and release our own commercial indie game.

I have over 15 years of game-development experience, primarily as a programmer, lead developer and project lead. I’ve worked on released indie titles, high-profile mobile projects and many other commercial games and applications. I also have experience with production, art direction, team management, publishing, marketing and the business side of releasing games.

I’ll be responsible for technical leadership, production, organization, publishing, marketing coordination and the project’s agreed direct expenses. I’ll also be actively developing the game.

The goal is deliberately practical:

  • Agree on a small concept as a team
  • Build and publish a playable prototype quickly
  • Collect real player feedback
  • Aim for a commercial demo or Early Access candidate in approximately three months if the prototype validates the idea
  • Avoid spending a year developing something privately before discovering whether anybody wants it

The intended direction is a visually distinctive, stylized 3D game built in Unity, with a strong character or movement-based gameplay hook. I’m interested in colorful, playful and adventurous games rather than realistic violence, horror or conventional shooters. The exact concept will be developed together, although I’ll take responsibility for final production and scope decisions.

I’m currently interested in experienced people covering areas such as:

  • Unity gameplay programming
  • Stylized 3D environments and props
  • Character modeling, rigging and animation
  • Technical art, shaders, lighting and VFX
  • UI, 2D art, branding and marketing content

Versatile generalists are especially welcome.

This is currently a revenue-share collaboration with no upfront salary.

Core collaborators are expected to receive approximately 10–20% revenue share each, depending on their role, responsibility, time commitment, experience, and long-term involvement.

Split assumes 50% for the founder, and a flexible 20-30% project pool for later specialists such as animation, technical art, audio, additional development, QA or marketing.

I’m looking for people with several years of meaningful experience, a strong portfolio and ideally at least one released title. Reliability and the ability to work efficiently within a deliberately small scope are essential.

To apply, please send:

  • Your portfolio and released work
  • Your primary role and secondary skills
  • Your realistic weekly availability and time zone
  • A little about the kinds of games you would enjoy creating

My work:

Edit: Revshare structure split clarified
