Is there a particular sous vide that is durable and keeps precise temperature?

All the ones I've looked into so far have mixed reviews of premature failure, loud whining noise, not keeping temperature etc.

I'd just be using it for particular types of yogurt (like L-reuteri) that need a fairly consistent temp' of 100F for 36 hours.

Is there one you'd recommend that would work well for this purpose?

What should I use to make yogurt if not going to use an instant pot or sous vide for anything else?

Would a dedicated yogurt maker then be the best choice (if so any suggestions on a good one to get?)

I would need it have temp' control but otherwise, whatever is going to be the most durable, easiest to use and most space saving.

Which yogurt maker is best for Reuteri?

For a single person, small size preferred, easy to use with effective results.

Wouldn't use an instant pot for anything else so probably not that unless it's the best.

Do any of you use the newer type krypto lock with straight shackles and if so, has there been issues with the lock getting stuck?

I've used the older bent foot type without issue but recently lost my keys so am debating whether to go with the newer style, which is actually cheaper, or stick with the original that I've used without issue?

Read many reviews stating problems with the newer style locks getting stuck, wouldn't want to one day not be able to unlock it.

Don't need the extra security of the newer lock design, just locked enough to deter crime of convenience.

Is the wall adapter it comes with overheating an issue or is it safe to use for continuous recording?

I just received my C121 and am wondering if the included wall adapter is going to be safe enough to use for continuous recording or if I should use a better adapter or perhaps plug it into my pc's usb3 or something?

Which camera would you recommend for a basic stealthy one room setup?

Looking for a small black camera, preferably square, though doesn't have to be; that has basic features such as continuous recording to SD, phone notifications & remote live view. It wouldn't be further than 20ft from router and maybe even right next to it depending on which wall I put it on.

I think the square design is less noticeable, but functionality is the most important thing as I can put it away when home. I'd just be occasionally using it when away for a long amount of time which isn't often.

I had a CCTV type camera in the past--no phone notifications--but this will be my first one with the remote features, so any suggestions are appreciated. I would have considered the blink mini if they had a way to record without subscription.

For a stealth setup would the C111 work well or does the C121 function better?

Does the C111 have the same basic features as the C121 for basic monitoring while away such as continuous recording to SD, phone notifications and remote live view.

I like the small square (with base removed) C111, I think it is less noticeable than the round C121, but functionality is the most important thing.

I would set it to continuous recording when away with notifications on for motion detection and sometimes watch the live feed. It would be no further than 20ft from router or maybe even right next to it depending on which wall I put it on.

Tapo C121 vs REOLINK E1 Pro for basic indoor security camera?

This will be my first indoor security camera, for when am going to be away from home for awhile.

I like the Reolink for the features like direct to ethernet, but it's a bit obtrusive looking to have in my living room. While the Tapo can be magnet mounted so could take it down when not used.

Which would you recommend or is it really just between those options mentioned?

Is there a different camera you would suggest instead. I'd really prefer some small square ones like the blink mini but want sd recording and no subscription, continuous recording option etc.

Is it typical for canned fish to taste different depending on when they're caught?

Do you find the same brand to occasionally taste a lot different?

I just started eating tinned fish regularly a few months ago and have been enjoying the MW Polar Herring, Kipper Snacks, 3.53-Ounce, but recently they are larger filets, more fishy tasting--and not in a good way--drier and with hardly any smoke flavor.

Is this typical for tinned fish, thinking maybe it's a new batch from different time of year. Or would there not be such a dramatic change to go from delicious to barely edible?

I want to give valerian root a try but want to make sure I get a good brand to test it out, is there one you would recommend that is representative of actual valerian root?

I don't want to get the wrong brand and perhaps unfairly judge valerian root. Is there a brand that you have tried that works like how it should?

Is the extract better, preferably in capsule or tablet form, not drops unless that's the most effective. Thanks!

Is there a brand of valerian root you can recommend that actually works the way it is supposed to?

I'd like to give valerian root a try but don't want to unfairly judge it because I got an ineffective brand.

Is there a brand you've tried that at least works the way valerian root is supposed to?

Is there a brand of valerian root that you can recommend trying out and see if it works?

I'd like to give valerian root a try but don't want to unfairly judge it because the brand isn't a good one.

I know it's not the most potent for insomnia but is there a brand that you've tried that at least does what valerian is supposed to do?

What to expect getting an 8-week-old puppy?

I had a chow before but got her at 6 months and she pretty much acted like a grown dog.

Am wondering what to expect getting this young a puppy? Will I have to take her out every hour and perhaps during the night as well, and if so for about how long and what decreases in length do you figure? Do they bark a lot as puppies? Any other things to expect?

I live alone, have trouble sleeping so get up during the night, and wonder if my getting up will wake the puppy and then have to go outside?

I will be crating during sleep times and also have a playpen for when not actively engaging with her--I am home all day so will be spending a lot of time together; the playpen is mainly to prevent accidents on the carpet while training.

Was planning on doing this a little later on but the local breeder will have a litter ready in a couple of months so I need to figure out what I'd be in for and if I should go for it or hold off. Thanks!

What are the similar notes in Aqua Odyssey that are also in Club De Nuit?

It wasn't there when I first got the bottle of Odyssey but after sitting for a couple of weeks, I'm distinctly picking up a strong familiar scent that I recall Club De Nuit having (Might've been Intense.)

What might this scent be that's in both of them, and do you think the Odyssey will continue having it or continue to change as it ages more?

Will the Sony ICD-UX570 be good for picking up faint voices/sounds or is there a better one?

I've read some reviews about ones like the Olympus DM670 and WS-852, but it looks like from basic specs that the Sony ICD-UX570 would offer better pickup. Is there something I'm not aware of as total noob I don't know anything about this other what I've read on here. Thanks!

Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra or New TCL NXTPAPER 14? Mainly for reading comics etc.

Price is similar, just wondering which would be the better purchase?

Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

TCL NXTPAPER 14

Of course, one is new and the other is not.

The TCL has a matte screen that I like, but the S8 has an AMOLED display.

I have a 10" Samsung tablet that's still like new after 10yrs, unsure about what to expect from the TCL long term.

Which would you recommend? (I'd get the extended 4yr warranty for sure on the refurbished Samsung.)
