I HATE that some people think Israel justifies Antisemitism

So I am largely against israel. But recently online, I keep seeing people explicitly or subtly say that the rise in Antisemitism is ok because of israel. This is awful.

The comments on this post kept saying "there must be a reason", basically trying to ignore/justify it and say Jews deserve it because of israel.

Like imagine if you were venting about racism you experienced then someone told you "maybe you should consider that other people of your race did something bad, and that caused the racism." It just doesn't sit right with me.

Edit: some people are saying these comments aren't justifyng it, just explaining it, but I don't think that's true. It's the context. Oop posted about how they're angry that Antisemitism is rising, and the commenters first thought is to bring up how Israel is doing all these bad things. It feels like it's in malicious intent.

This post wasn't asking what the cause was. Oop said they hate that there's so much Antisemitism, and commenters responded about how Israel causes it. This shouldn't be relevant, it just feels like justification. Like when someone is venting about Antisemitism, if you immediately bring up Israels actions being bad, it feels like you're brushing off the Antisemitism.

Like to have a less politically charged example, since israel/Palestine is a very hot topic right now: imagine if around 9/11 times a Muslim person said they hate all the islamophobia happening, and the top comments were all like "why do you think this is happening? there surely must be a reason for this...". that would seem very islamophobic to me, it's like a dog whistle.

Why is Europe so mean to Africa!?!?!!1!?11?!?1!?1?

It kicked Sicily and made Africa bleed. Why did Asia and North America just stand there and watch?

I drew a line from the US to China while accounting for the curvature of the earth

Many might not know this, but maps are distorted by the Mercator projection, so a straight line in real life will not appear to be straight on a map, as seen above.

(16M) AMA I have been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and OCD.

Yes it's true. I got diagnosed with all three a few years ago (I think I was 13), now I'm 16 and going into 11th grade. We knew I had ocd since like elementary school (heavily obvious to both me, my family, and my therapist, but technically undiagnosed until a few yrs ago). ADHD was suspected. Autism was a surprise though, until my parents learned more about it and realized it made sense.

Warning: I have mild/high-functioning autism so I probably won't be good to answer questions about more severe cases.

Is this mod biased?

I got my post removed, and I'm not that mad about that, but the response from the mod who removed it feels weird. It was in r/IsraelPalestine, but don't worry, I was being nice in my post, and wasn't being disrespectful. I even left a comment saying to be nice and sorry if i accidentally offended anyone. I was saying why, in my opinion, Israel is colonization. One of the rules is that I need to refute arguments/comebacks, and I did that a lot throughout my post. But this mod says that because I didn't address the "biggest" argument, it doesn't count? That doesn't feel right, that's literally not in the rules (and by the way, in my post I did address it a little, saying how MOST jewish israelis' ancestors hadn't been there for 2000 years, not all).

In the mod's response, it also seems that the mod is biased, even saying "I made a bunch of strawman arguments" (I didn't). Like, it sounds like the real reason they removed it is because they disagree with my post (saying i made strawman arguments doesn't relate at all to the rule I supposedly broke). They wrote their own opinion in the reply as you can see, as if that's a reason my post should get removed. I stated my OPINION, and they disagreed, and removed my post.

And the fact that the mod themselves most likely downvoted my comment is wild.

Does it seem like this was an unrightful removal of my post to you guys? (please don't get political, this post isn't about israel/palestine, but about possible biased mod)

P.S. I might have misunderstood the mod's response, so sorry if i'm wrong abt it being unjust

Both my ethnicities are hated

Does anyone else relate to this? It feels like racism times 2. Like no matter which way I turn, theres ppl who hate both parts of me.

I'm half kurdish half jewish, and I see lots of ppl online hating kurds, then I turn the other way and there's another batch of ppl who hate Jews

😑
