Anyone know why comet is currently out of service?
Was hoping to take some family on it for their first time
I sent a message to the dude asking when he would be available for me to pick it up. He doesn’t read my message for 18 hours, then suddenly does this. CRT price inflation is crazy
Just got Gen 2’s after using Gen 1 a few years ago. What do people still recommend to reduce battery drain? Is the battery still kinda terrible?
reddit.comA piece of moxie history in my collection. Wanted to share it here
Finally got my first CRT TV! Random old GE model, maybe late 70’s early 80’s? It’s the first CRT I’ve had in my home since I was a kid watching my parents Trinitron.
Do you guys think any more signed copies of the art book will be available for preorder/purchase?
Was thinking about preordering the B&N edition after getting back into the fandom after a little while, and realized I once again missed a signed copy preorder. Is there any hope? Or should I just get the B&N edition
Hey fellas, I know this’ll likely be a fruitless effort, but any advice on how I could get a photo of some fireworks with an impulse AF?
reddit.comJust joined the family! Got all this for 150 at an estate sale (last day, half off.) and a 1571 for 20 bucks with its foam. Genuinely don’t know what to do with it though; should I keep it in its box? Put it on my desk and use it?
Hey fellas, need some buying advice.
So, right now I’m really torn between the Z7II and Z6III. I’ve been wanting to take the leap over to Nikon for a while and I finally have the chance; until now I’ve been using a Canon EOS Rebel T7 (yes, it sucks.)
Anyways, I wanted yalls advice on which one to get. I’m the regularly designated family photographer and whatnot but the real meat and potatoes of my photography is landscapes and wildlife.
I’ve heard the 7II has issues with its AF tracking compared to the 6III? And the 7II has some rolling shutter issues too? But it has 45 megapixels instead of 24, which would be really good for cropping. The 6III has better IBIS too…
Any advice is appreciated!
EDIT: thanks for the advice everyone! I’ll probably get the Z6iii or maybe splurge on a used Z8.
FD95/97/ any “higher resolution” floppy disk model users, what aspect ratio/quality do you actually like shooting at normally?
I can’t decide between shooting 1600x1200 and 1024x768; the lower resolution gets some more space out of the floppy disks and it’s a different aesthetic but the higher resolution looks nice too.. (before someone says it, I can also use memory stick but my model uses the adapter which is incredibly slow compared to normal floppies)
