feeling discouraged and anxious

i had been dealing with symptoms of mgen and ureaplasma parvum since february 2026. my male partner and i took azithromycin and doxycycline. i didn’t know you were supposed to test 4-5 weeks after your last antibiotic pill. i tested negative 3 weeks after my first. he never received a test of cure with us believing if i was negative he was i learned that doesn’t matter. so now we had unprotected sex last week that resulted in me being very inflamed and red afterward. now almost a week later im having pelvic pain. im already scheduled to see my doctor on thursday. i feel so discouraged and anxious because i truly thought i was done.

FINALLY CURED

if you click on my username you'll see i have been dealing with FREQUENT issues down there since winter! for three seasons i was dealing with internal itching, pelvic pain, urethral irritation, redness, pain during intercourse, inflammation and just an overall off feeling with no answers. after about 3 doctors visits of swabs for bv, yeast and other negative sti panels i was finally diagnosed with mgen and ureaplasma parvum. i have no idea how i came in contact with it unfortunately. but with two rounds of doxy and one round of 1000 mg of azithromycin i’m cured of over half a year of discomfort. i am very very fortunate to have been cured with just the first round of treatment. it gets better and you will be normal again.

positive for Mycoplasma Genitalium and Ureaplasma Parvum.

it came as quite a shock to me. i tested positive in late May after having symptoms since February! the LPN that i was going to is no longer at the practice and she only prescribed me doxy for 7 days twice a day. and that was right after i was diagnosed around May 23 or 24. i went back June 8th because i was told i had to schedule another appointment due to still having symptoms (itching, inflammation after receiving oral sex 😕 i know i shouldn’t have done it, it was just in the moment). they tested me again when i went this past monday. and im still waiting on the results. i was prescribed azithromycin 2 pills once at 500 mg each and im back on doxy again for 7 days. i am hoping so badly this cures me. i have been dealing with this for almost 3 seasons now! when should i go back to tested again? i need advice please

recently diagnosed with m gen and ureaplasma parvum but want some opinions.

so i’ve had sex with only two people in the last year both with no protection, unfortunately. i was having sex with the 1st person all last year with no protection. the 2nd person i had sex with only once. after that one time with person 2 i never seen him again after that which was in July 2025. after that me and person 1 continued having sex all the way up until April of this year. i started having vaginal symptoms in February 2026 internal itching mostly. but then i started having weird discharge, my urine stream was suddenly weak, mild pelvic pain that was barely noticeable and i wasn’t peeing normally anymore only 2-3 times a day even drinking regularly no burning though. i’m confused and wondering who i could've got this from. any opinions?

vaginal redness after stopping pill

i was on the pill for about 6-7 years. recently got off the pill because i was experiencing some very painful vaginal dryness. in February i started experiencing itching internally (i tested negative for yeast about 3 times this year so far) the itching stopped beginning of April. i was still on the pill at the time. and then came the dryness it was very very painful, i thought it may have been the pill (estarylla) so i stopped beginning of this month. my girl is thankfully lubricating naturally now. then i had the withdrawal bleeding but now my vagina and hymen are red. the redness fluctuates but it’s concerning. i haven’t been having sex or drinking alcohol. i had a full sti panel done at the obgyn and were negative for everything and my vaginal microbiome was normal with no signs of bv. i’m not in any pain either. can this be a residual effect of the itching and dryness?

i’m experiencing redness internally down there

i was on birth control for about 6-7 years. i’m now off of it due to it causing some very painful vaginal dryness. its been 2 weeks now and i’ve noticed i have redness internally down there on my hymen i’m guessing. i’m lubricating naturally again so im not dry anymore just red. i had sex last in early april vaginally for a few minutes and haven’t since then. i’ve had a full panel for yeast, STI and STD and my vaginal microbiome was normal no sign of BV or yeast. could this be a residual effect from the dryness that i was experiencing weeks ago?

i’ve been having issues with my girl down there. january 28 i got a wax, a full 24 hours later and some change i had sex with my bf. that night i got home, peed in the shower and it burned really badly (that was the last of any burning) after that the itching started (i took two rounds of fluconazole even though i’ve never tested positive for yeast) and that lasted from february to end of march beginning of april. i’ve tested negative for yeast, bv, and trich multiple times. ive had a full panel and everything had come back negative or normal. i was dry with sweet smelling underwear for a few weeks but now it seems like my vag is trying to lubricate itself again. my thing is it feels like the itching is trying to come back. my libido is low, i just feel off. i am on estarylla birth control but it just feels like something is going on with me. i’m going back to the gyno this week to get my hormones tested and get some help with this because it’s been going on for too long and i want to feel normal again. what can this be? i just want advice if anyone has dealt with this tia!

in your experience with vaginal probiotics, which ones break down biofilm and prevents or reduces the chances of getting bv again? whether it be supplements, food or suppositories. tia
