Trying to decide if I should get back into day trading..

Long story short: I began learning Forex at 17 for fun with my best friend, didn’t do anything but analysis and learning basics.

Stopped hanging out with that friend and didn’t do much with it after that…

turned 19 ish and began hanging out with my friend again,

he had been doing trading here and there but couldn’t make enough so he focused on a real business.

I had just dabbled for fun all this time but I just kept on wanting to get into it (I was really into numbers/math my entire childhood)…

Fast forward to age 27 ish and I fully set out to do stock and options trading, had a system, used WeBull and Trading View, but didn’t want to invest into equipment I saw others use so stuck to cell phone and laptop every morning.

I would wake up at 5:30 am (California) and study up on some stocks, watch one YouTuber and what he did before (can’t remember the name) kinda just kept my eye on 2-3 stocks.

Did this with only $12k in an account so I had to stick to 3 trades per week. I learned my basics and managed to make about $2000 after fees (pre tax).. blah blah blah..

I never got to the point of actually doing it the “right way” because at the time COVID hit and I was stuck living with my (then) GF who just didn’t understand what I was trying to do.

After two months and a few big loses I was about 3500 up but the stress of it with the stress of the way my life was set up at the time (and the health issues caused by it) forced me to be smart and stop this.

Fast forward again to now age 35, almost 7 years off any kind of method of systems, I see myself doing it again, but with (more) adult money and because that 3 trades per week rule being gone soon. Can easily get $12k again up so it much more consistently but definitely with tread lightly…

What advice would you give to me as someone who knows most basic stuff but wants to get an overhaul of skills and knowledge that could help me be much more consistent, more mathematical and less risky than full on market open day trading possibly (even).. ??

I’m 35 so I’m not dumb and hopeful lol I’m willing to take my time and know how to be patient with any skill I’ve developed.

Any advice is appreciated !

”Iltapäivällä haluan syödä lounaan ystäväni kanssa”

Is this sentence correct? I thought that ystäväni might be off.

Or is ystäväni kanssa = possessive specific
And ystävän kanssa = a friend?

Elon.io for Finnish a good site?

Every few months, I like to search for new sites/apps to practice and review this language from a different source and I came across this site.

What are people opinions on it? Seems really solid but not sure how strong the AI grammar explanations are…

I’m only 1.5 years in and found myself stuck in it for 2 hours today lol usually I’m burnt out over the weekend but this took my entire focus away from other things. Felt very productive but IDK. What do y’all think?

I’m pretty insane for doing this, I know… but I kinda need to get most of these languages down hard to achieve some pretty wild goals.

I work only 30 hours on purpose to get to study 4+ hours per day. I’m usually burnt out by Saturday but still enjoy content in the language all weekend long.

Just wondering what other multi language learners do and how much they work?

And what’s your reason for learning those languages?

AMA you want to know about why I’m doing this?

Edit: the amount of haters in multiple language learning is pretty damn alarming. I’m super passionate about this… and this doesn’t help at all… js
I wont stop but man talk about shotty community…

For those who have been eating this way for 3+ year, and tried this way of eating to solve diabetes issues, what has gotten better over the years of being diabetic and eating a strict diet?

Been a metal head a majority of my life, but have always loved the “goth” aesthetic and music some metal heads don’t vibe with. I love cyber punk/industrial on occasion and wonder if that’s the kind of “goth” scene that can be found?

Long story short: I want to listen to some good music with a great vibe. Have never even met a “true goth person” and what that entails but definitely into horror, death and dark art.. etc.

I’m M35, and just looking for a different/new experience that I’ve look at from the outside for 20 ish years haha

Give me your best guidance! :)
