Dentist said teeth are in good shape. I have a planing and deep clean scheduled and then will meet with periodontist. But hygienist said I have a few 10mm pockets. One on my front tooth. What’s crazy is I saw an out of network dentist last week and they said I didn’t have any pockets over 6 and most were 3-4s. Is there anyway one of the hygienist were completely wrong or is it progressing that fast?

I am so worried I’m going to lose some teeth. Any success stories. I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure this never happens to me again but the 10mm pockets are freaking me out

Hello, my bmi is 36. My PCP has told me she would like me to go on a GLP-1. Was told we’d start we Zepbound or try Wegovy. Prior authorization was approved through OptumRx through my employer. But then was told I need to go through Virta. Read all the horror stories (and some good ones) my concern is will they even prescribe me a GLP-1 or just make me do keto. I’ve tried keto. It doesn’t work for me or my lifestyle at all. What are my options? I would love to try these lifesaving drugs and get healthier for my son but I am so afraid of Virta now.
