Poached eggs. Are they popular or do most people not realise you can order them?

As they are made fresh to order I wonder how many people don't realise despite the menu listing them. Of course many may prefer fried or not want to wait! For me ordering them fresh felt like a life hack!

£15 'luxury' fish finger sandwich at Huffkins bakery inside John Lewis on Oxford Street

This must be one of the most expensive fish finger sandwiches in the world

Luxembourg City worth visiting?

Often see cheap flights from the UK

Wondered if it's worth going out your way for. The main sights appear to be the balcony walk and caves

Is it a place you'd get bored of after one day? I get it's not Rome just curious. Also hear some say it's boring. But free transport is amazing even if hotels and restaurants may be dear

Why is tax on a new car so much more expensive?

My Hyundai I10 is £20 a year. It's 15 years old. Looking at a nearly new I20 which I believe will be £200 a year. I know the tax system changed but it seems very bizarre. You'd think the newer car would be more efficient. It's an eye watering increase.

£3 at Tesco with a voucher and meal deal combined. Felt smug till the coffee spilt as I hadn't secured the lid properly 😉

Deciding between three balkan countries or Moldova

If you had a choice between Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia or Moldova which would you pick first and why? Obviously some can be combined on one trip but going by the countries alone

I've yet to visit any of these countries but all look very interesting. We all have different tastes so I'm curious what would swing it for you?

How touristy is Skopje?

I'm guessing more so than Pristina and Podgorica as per Balkan capitals go but relatively few? Sarajevo I assumed was off the radar but it seems very popular these days and has a lot of history. Tirana may not be as popular as the Albanian beach destinations but certainly seemed quite popular with tourists when I was there and offers interesting bunkers and architecture plus the cable car up the mountain.

Wondering where Skopje fits in. It's not helped by having very patchy flights at extreme hours from the UK at least.

However it seems most under the radar capital cities are becoming increasingly popular. That said Is it somewhere where being a tourist is still a bit unusual? Are there enough must sees to entice tourists aside the kitsch 2014 rebuild?

Airline refusing to compensate me for a damaged hold bag due to "heavy" label attached

I took an Aeroméxico Flight from CDMX to Heathrow. I checked in a bag which was 5kg overweight

25kg is their allowance. No problem I paid the overweight fee and thought nothing of it. I couldn't move luggage around as my carry on was full

Arriving at Heathrow T3 at the carousel I discovered the shell was ripped and dented in one corner. I didn't think fast enough as I was tired and I had a long way still to get home. I remembered to tell the staff at the airport only after customs. However there was a phone for baggage queries so I used it but was told by their third party baggage agency as I passed customs they couldn't help and to contact the airline.

I contacted Aeromexico and a helpful person told me how to submit a complaint which I did including photos of the damage and the tag etc with all tags still applied. This was within an hour of arriving.

Aeroméxico today emailed refusing to compensate me as the bag was labelled heavy. I've replied citing the 1999 Montreal Convention and asking for specific evidence in their conditions etc plus a receipt of the overweight payment. My thoughts are that they agreed fot my bag to be carried and I paid the extra charge.

How likely is it I have any luck with this claim?

Things that surprise frequent flyers?

Even though I'm a pretty frequent flyer my flight from CDMX to London today offered a few curiosities.

The first one was the long runway at CDMX. I generally think a few people were getting nervous as you expect to be in the air much sooner! I understand this is due to the air being thin? The runway was very bumpy too and at one point I swear we left the runway before bouncing back on to it again but maybe I imagined it! There was aso a noticeable thud shortly after take off but probably the wheels retracting.

The descent was rather sudden. I felt a slight dizzy sensation that was far more pronounced than usual. The equivalent of a car quickly going over the brow of a hill and I again heard some agitated murmers from other passengers.

Finally as we neared the runway I noticed the entire central area where the bag lockers are visibly swaying. At first I thought I was imagining things. I guess those lockers are flimsy.

I was in seat 14E. Guess I'm still a novice but it got e thinking what are things that have unexpectedly surprised you despite taking many flights?

Visa approved, priority

Submitted: 11th May

Biometrics: 13th May

Approved: today, 9th June. 18WD

My wife applied from Mexico. We got married in April.

I earn way over the minimum for a sponsor and my wife is already B1 plus level in English so she took the B1 test.

Very stressful as she is pregnant and we found out end of February. It's great we can have a UK birth.

We used a Solicitor due to the time pressure. Originally we were going to marry this week but we managed to move the wedding to April which saved us so much time. It's nice as we are together now in Mexico to celebrate. (On our honeymoon)

I was worried as she had a divorce and Mexico don't issue divorce certificates just an annulled marriage certificate but it was fine.

Good luck everyone

How to organise screenshots in date order on an android phone

I have screenshots of whatsapp conversations. I need them to be in date order. Simply putting them in a samsung gallery doesn't work. Do I need to name each photo separately by date or is there a free app to drag screenshots around to the order I choose then send as a file without losing the order? Thanks
