When are cosleepers going to bed?

8mo, we've been cosleeping for 4m and it has been great for us! She goes down for the night at 7PM and sleeps (with dream feeds) until 630AM. The thing is, unless I'm in bed with her, she wakes after an hour screaming so I dash in to get her back down.

We just follow her cues and day time sleep is usually around 3 hours across 2-3 naps.

Any way I can get my evenings back? I don't mind going to bed early but 12hrs in bed is taking a toll physically.

BIL made a baby book of my child for MIL...

I think I just need a gut check...inlaws live abroad and we come from different cultures so I'm not sure if this is strange or just how they are. Please be gentle, I'm freshly postpartum and hormonal AF lol.

We just had our first baby, that side of the family's first grandbaby.

BIL, MIL, and BIL's girlfriend came to visit for two weeks. My husband is definitely the black sheep of the family, hence us living far-far away.

After the trip, BIL put together a photo album of only pictures of our baby and MIL. Not a vacation book. A book with just pictures of my baby that they took while here. I hadn't even seen most of the pictures! ETA: This was a gift to MIL, we (the hosts and chaufferes received nothing for our first baby just saying...).

Also, when we video call with them as a group, they're always screenshotting the baby and sending it to MIL.

I think this is out of line...it's not your child. Also where are you uploading pictures of our baby to create this book. I wouldn't ever put together a photo book of my niece and nephew to give to my mom. It's weird to me! I'm just uncomfortable with the whole thing since it's not their place.

Is it worth getting an onbuhimo?

https://preview.redd.it/x40y1w31yuah1.png?width=357&format=png&auto=webp&s=8270833422c79e64bdd3dac343416eaca4af1686

My LO and I have been very happy using a combo of a ring sling and this Happy Baby OG, and now that she's sitting independantly we have been playing with back carrying. She LOVES it, which got me thinking about the onbuhimos I see in this subreddit...

Are there any benefits to getting one that we're missing out on just using an apron carrier?

Granny bra don't care!

6m PP and I'd finally had enough with my nursing bras...got fitted for a full coverage underwire and GOOD LORD I could use it as a parachute but I love it so so much. The sweet relief for my back is unmatched, and I feel a bit more like myself. I'll probably stick to my KB's around the house but wow mama missed the support!

No more naps in the crib

Coming to you LIVE from my bedroom at 10am...Cosleeping saved my sanity and we're doing great at night...but now my 6mo refuses crib naps. The moment her butt touches the mattress it's instant panic mode... How are we getting our little ones to nap once they're used to snuggling mom all night? Floor beds?

The bed rail arrives tomorrow

5 months PP and we're doing it... Waking up every 30 min for hours on end in no longer a safe option for us. I can't wait for the mail to arrive tomorrrow so we can hopefully all get some better sleep! I'm so grateful for this community that I can learn from.

Aside for the safe sleep guidelines (which I have researched extensively) do you have any other hacks on cosleeping? e.g. wear wool PJ's to stay cozy, or other tips!

HOW are we getting 22276 home?

At least 15 ft ... Is a flatbed the only way? I don't have any cool friends with trucks, just an old mini van 🤷‍♀️
