Getting hit on by the comic during a set

Idk if this is the right sub for this but I wanted to get opinions from real comedians so here goes. I was in the audience at a show tonight, and I think one of the comedians was flirting with me during his set. There were some suggestive comments and lots of eye contact. We had also had a short interaction before the show started (I didn’t realize he was a comic till he walked on stage).

I looked for him after the show to say hi but he wasn’t around. So comedians of Reddit, I come to you instead with these questions - have you ever/how often do you hit on someone in the audience while you’re on stage? What are the odds that he was actually hitting on me, and that it wasn’t just part of his set to [interact with any woman sitting in the front row]?

To be clear - I didn’t feel uncomfortable, his set was great and I was laughing throughout. I’m just wondering how likely it is that he was actually shooting his shot and not just using me for the punchline.

Also would it have been appropriate for me to flirt back during his set? (I didn’t say anything because I didn’t wanna heckle but I was laughing a lot.) Would it have been creepy/inappropriate for me to talk to him after the show since I’d kinda be hitting on him at his work? Would it be creepy to message him on social media now to shoot my shot? Help a girl out.

Haven’t had a good day in months

I’ve been in a state of executive dysfunction for months now. I go to work but my performance has been dropping. My personal life is a mess - poor hygiene and personal grooming, dirty room, dirty home, shitty eating habits, rarely see friends, can’t keep up with relationships, can barely have a real conversation, missing appointments.

I’ve always struggled with these things but I had systems and routines that helped - all of that is so hard to do now. It feels like any foundation I had that helped me be an adult has disintegrated. Now I just feel like I’m failing at everything.

It feels like I haven’t had a single win in months, even a small one. Like I don’t think I’ve even managed to make my bed in such a long time. I’m so tired and I’m starting to hate myself again. Sometimes I really hate having adhd.

My biggest problem is time. I hate time. I can’t wake up on time, can’t get places on time, can’t do things on time. I feel so incompetent and just stupid.

Mansplaining boss

When I bring up a legitimate concern with a task/project to my boss and present a solution, he brushes it off and says it’s nothing to be concerned about and that my solution doesn’t even address said concerns anyway. He does this even if I share a detailed rationale for why I see this as a roadblock and propose a plan of action.

He will later (sometimes literally a few hours later) bring up the same concern that I brought to his attention and tell me about it as if he just realized it himself. He’ll mansplain the entire situation to me (ME, THE PERSON WHO INITIALLY FLAGGED THE ISSUE!!!!) and go into excruciating detail about why this is such a big concern that we need to take seriously (aka the exact same rationale that *I* shared with him) and cherry on top, present a magical solution that he just came up with (ding ding ding, you guessed it! It’s THE SAME SOLUTION I INITIALLY PRESENTED THAT HE SHOT DOWN!!!)

Not once during this exchange does he acknowledge that this is something I flagged or that I made any contribution to the solution or that I ever brought this up. He talks to me as if I’ve never discussed this topic before and know nothing at all about it (like hello???? I brought it up to you?? And why are you explaining basics to me, I have years of experience in this industry). I feel like I’m being gaslit that I never said anything in the first place. At this point, I’d even be happy to get a “hey ya you brought this up and I thought about it and came up with a solution” - like yeah he’d still be taking credit for my idea but at least I wouldn’t feel like I’m going crazy and being gaslit that I never said anything??

Btw this also happens with projects he doesn’t work with directly so he doesn’t have the level of visibility I have into potential roadblocks. So it’s not like he would have thought of this concern before I did.

I literally question myself like “I guess I wasn’t clear enough? Maybe I actually didn’t say that and he really did come up with the idea?”

It’s so irritating. When he’s mansplaining and literally repeating my own words back to me and talking to me as if I’m a little kid, it makes me want to scream!!!!!! I feel like I’m going crazy

For context I’m F in my twenties and he is about 10-15 years older

How much do you fudge your numbers for interviews

I’m trying to get a new AE job. Been at my current job in the automotive tech space as an AE for around 1.5 years. Been ag this company ever since I started in sales (4years or so) so idk what other companies are like and how to show my attainment numbers in my resume and talk about it in interviews

Last year was my first full year and I did 106% of my annual target. This year I’ll be at around 70% of my annual target at the end of this quarter (ahead of schedule)

Does 106% look bad / not good enough / nothing special? Do you guys usually add a cushion to “augment” your resume? Should I talk about this year or just stick to last year since I have the full attainment figures? Wha do you guys usually do?

Help a fellow sales bro out 🙏
