Just installed a replacement attic ladder. Any suggestions on how to cover/seal the gap between the attic door and surrounding trim?
The gap is a little less than 1/4" all the way around. I was thinking about attaching a rubber gasket molding around the edge of the door. A friend recommended caulk, though I have my doubts with it possibly interfering with the door opening and closing. Curious to hear your suggestions.
