I live in Glenview and my basement is roughly half-finished, but with veeery dated flooring/walls/drop ceiling. We’re looking to have the above ripped out, put in some luxury vinyl flooring, drywall, and a newer drop ceiling. Roughly 30x20 space.
Can anyone recommend any reputable companies for this, and/or what you paid for it? I’ve heard that the big names in the basement biz are overpriced…
I’m renovating my basement which is roughly 12x22 with 7 foot ceilings, and am wondering if a set of three of these Sierras for LCR along with a sub and HTM-200SEs for rear surrounds (potentially adding some in-ceiling height surrounds as well) would be sufficient for a room this size. I’d be using something like an Onkyo TX-RZ30 to power them.
This will be a mixed use home theater/gaming/music room. I’m leaning towards bookshelves on wall-mounted stands as I have a couple of dogs and a 5 year old and the thought of floor standers or regular stand-mounted speakers makes me nervous with them…

I’m hoping there’s an easy solution for connecting my Collexion to my PC (and hopefully PS5) with low-latency for gaming. All of the different Bluetooth codecs confuse the heck out of me, so if anyone has personal experience and success with this and can share, I’d greatly appreciate it!
I have a Monster Lite rack with safety spotter arms, and want to get a utility seat that mounts to it. Rogue only makes a Monster version.
Anyone know if any of the Rep or other brands’ seat is compatible with a monster lite?

I’m potentially buying a B9.5 in the near future, and am wondering if short drives would have an adverse effect on anything besides the battery. I love about 2.5 miles from the train station I’ll be taking to work 4 days a week, and I’m in the Chicago area so I’m assuming the engine won’t be warming up all the way each time I’m the winter.
I know idling isn’t good for most engines, but would it be better in this scenario than just getting in right away and driving in the winter? I won’t be driving hard at all on these short trips.

A couple months ago I ordered a PS5 Pro and mistakenly had it shipped to my old address after moving across the country. Fortunately, my old neighbor talked to the new owner of my old house, and they sent it back to the local Best Buy store (it was originally dropped off via Roadie).
I have the tracking number showing it was delivered back to my local Best Buy at the dock. I’ve called the store twice to confirm that they’ve received it and they told me I should receive a credit by the end of the billing cycle. Two months later, no credit.
I’ve called the store again, talked to chat online, and even been transferred to “primary care” who are unable to assist, saying the store hasn’t confirmed the return. They recommended I go to the store that it was sent from/returned to, but it’s not an option since I’m across the country. I’m currently waiting on a call back from the store manager, which I hope actually happens.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to get this rectified?
