ive been doing quads for 2 years and ive tried to find tips that not a lot of people know but most tutorials and tips always are the same things i want some tips that almost no one is aware of but is stil helpful

quick warning theyre a lot of typos so theres an upcoming comiccon in 2 weeks and i want to take my fursuit head, but i need some help i want to add more to make it more unique and then i also want to paws but i dont have the color i need
i still want hand paws though because it will feel weird without them i have 3 small patches of the usual high quality fursuit fur gray, beige, and white and then i have the less high qaulity maybe about 3ish feet by 5 amazon fur of black and white
i also took out the mesh because i painted over the og ones and didnt like it so i would apperiate recomondations with the eye color

what I'm looking for in trades: a reference sheet of at least the front of the character that I can see clearly, a fully colored artwork, anthros and ferals are perferred(I might accept humans), winged characters ARE AMAZING AND I WILL LOVE(wings aren't needed but I do love them).
what I am not looking for in trades: characters with no reference sheet, uncolored artwork, humans, AI generated "art", very basic designs(the character can have a plain design as long as there's a complex version), and then dragons(IM SORRY I DONT REALLY LIKE DRAGONS IM SORRYYY).

the first photo is from jun 2025 and the kd fanart was from this may i went through art regression and once i got out of i switched from moblie to chromebook and started using an ugee which made it even worse
improving didnt really bother me i was just going along my own pace knowing id improve more at some point and someone who ik who i will call purple said that they loved my masks and wish they were as artistic so i kinda assumed they were one of those people who dont really draw and just have that average not artist kinda art
but then they showed me a drawing they did and oml the rendering was beautiful the lineart was perfect and now i feel like trying to improve more instead of just waiting for a miracle to happen

so i have made multiple fursonas that were suppose to be my main but no matter what i always think that it doesnt fit right and it always either is not the right species, not the right color scheme or just doesnt feel like me
a few different species ive tried out are felines like bobcats and house cats ive always loved cats but it didnt feel right, foxes bc im a therian and its also my theriotype but i dont think it worked for my fursona, ive also tried fictional species like kittydogs and mako cats(im sorry if thats not what theyre called i dont remember)
ive considered goats and i think one might work because it makes me feel close to one of my religous figures and i deeply value my religion but i like long tails and goats have short tails
i will consider any animals fictional or not i perfer animals that have long tails i want an animal that can be like switched between crazy and soft and ill take color scheme ideas to but im paticular i mostly like greens, browns, and oranges also blues to but i like all colors so i dont mind ant that go far from my likes!
