Traitorous charge!

Some screens with a cool traitorous charge a across no-man-land.

This is progress on a video game inspired by grimdark-sci-fi settings.

I am looking to make it a game were teams are composed by humans and bots. Around 15 humans and 115 bots per side, aiming to provide a "big scale" battle experience.

it would be a mix between battlefield (capture points that grant resources to use to spawn stronger units) and SW: Battlefront

WiP of the "dream wargame video game": Feat. Traitorous trooper and sergeant

Hi guys! inspired by this post someone did in this sub 2 years ago, plus me being a 3D sculptor, and dawn of war 1 series enjoyer, i have been developing with my partner a video game template to make a star wars: battlefront-battlefield video games hybrid. With this template almost any setting could be done, but i wanted to start with something inspired by grimdark settings.

Today i felt confident in showing the first work in progress where i show the first 2 faction: Solar Confederation and the Abyssal Heretics (nasty traitors).

I am also influenced/inspired by .io games, so i am planning on releasing (free) a Pc version of the game, and a browser version which will be like a little brother/lite, with less bots.

This is multiplayer, i am not sure about player numbers but at least 15vs15 humans plus 100-120 bots per side.

Some recording i did showcasing how is it going:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGLkljbcctc

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWDjLR38KZU

Let me know what do you think about it! I plan on making several factions, no more than 12 different unit types, i want to keep it simple, and fun.

Fermented banana corroded my glock slide

I wanted to share this with you guys! This glock has only 15 shots done (not even a full mag)

I have it a home, and have it near me at almost everytime.

One day i was tidying my (physical) training space so i left the pistol inside a backpack.

It was there like for 6 hours and until i picked it and saw the mess: there was a banana wrapped in a towel, that was there for a week, from the last training session.

When i picked the pistol, it was wet/sticky in the slider area, only on its right side and after cleaning i realised that the CLD cover was CORRODED!

A quick google search told me it could be the lactic acid from bacteria as result of eating the banana carbs... so bacteria farts and poo defeated CLD protection.

This glock was almost brand new. :(

Saddest part is that here in my country (south america) this glock costs 1350usd.

Meeples-Miniatures hybrid?

Hello people! I come from the wargaming side of tabletop games, and since i am a sculptor my self, i have had the idea of making a variant of the famous meeples: applying a bas-relief instead of sticker/print, on one side and nothing/plain on the other.

What do you think about this approach? Since i cant help but project the typical sizes differences in wargaming miniatures, i decided to use the "mega meeple" (meeplesource) size as base refeernce for a human, so that goblins/dwarfs, orc, etc would be slightly bigger/smaller.

In the other hand, instead of making them 10mm thick as real meeples, i though that making the base be 10mm "deep" would be better considering that if they are well received, i plan to produce them in plastic.

All this is in early stages, so i am super open to input!
