Dayan Guhong Pro+ (Maglev) Review
Ive done about 250 solves with this cube,my previous cube was the super rs3m maglev
So what really set my eyes on this cube is the amount of features it had for 20$
Out of the box its factory lubed so it might feel a bit slippery at the start.
The corner cutting is excepent going all the way to ~50 degrees and reverse corner cutting to ~30-35 degrees
The cube feels snappy thanks to its ball core (8 magnets) and the corner magnets have 5 strength,I personally have mine at 4/5 strength
The cube has a total of 94 magnets and just feels great to turn, such a big difference from my previous main
However I did find the auto-alignment to be a bit underwhelming, its advertised to be up to 35 degrees but frequently when off setting the cube it doesnt even auto align,it feels random when its gonna auto align and when its not and its more at 25 degrees it almost never auto aligns at 35
The dual adjustment system has 8 tension setting and 6 center travel settings, the problem is the numbers are very hard to see forcinf you to keep the cube at a specific angle under light just to see thw numbers, also the center travel is basically impossible to adjust, I tried with the screwdriver which is what you are supposed to do but it just refuses to turn, to the point where Im afraid I will accidentaly break something
So Id say the dual adjustment is its only real weakness, the cubes snapiness makes up for the underwhelming auto alignment
TL;DR Pros:Snappy feeling, excellent corner cutting, factory lubed, amazing set of features for the price
Cons: Underwhelming auto-alignment,bad dual adjustment system
Overall:9,3/10
Helped me get from sub 28 to sub 25
*Im not sure if this is the right flair
