Hey,

I had a flight in early April that was canceled, therefore I got rebooked with a huge delay. I’ve been in contact with the customer service several times, but they only told me that an outside organization is taking care of the claims now. The case is still marked as new in their system without anyone assigned, has anyone experienced anything similar?
The customer service itself has no information since they outsourced it, so I am a bit lost now on what to do.

ich bin vor zwei Jahren innerhalb Europas umgezogen und mache meinen Doktor dort. Ich hatte komplett vergessen, dass ich noch einen Trade Republic Account hatte, auf dem weniger als 100 investiert in zwei ETFs und eine Aktie waren. Nun Hatte ich dort gleichzeitig noch einen Sparerpauschbetrag aktiv, durch den ich keine Steuern bezahlt hatte. Ich habe nun, da Trade Republic in Norwegen nicht aktiv ist, die Aktien verkauft und frage mich, wie es sich mit der Besteuerung verhält. Beim Verkauf war der Sparerpauschbetrag noch gültig. Ich will das gerne alles richtig machen, auch wenn es nur kleine Beträge sind, kennt sich hier jemand damit aus und hat Tipps? Ich stehe schon mit TR im Kontakt, aber das läuft etwas schleifend.

I am about to have my first poster presentation on Wednesday and I am extremely nervous and considering to call in sick.
I wrote a mostly conceptual conference paper in a conference that usually is more „applied“ with case studies and I am not fully happy with the work. It got decent rating by the reviewer and I mostly identified a gap in the literature with a suggestion on how to model it, but not with numbers and a specific model. This was a first paper that my supervisor suggested as a start for my PhD (I’m in my first year).
It’s an energy conference in Europe.

I am so scared of being roasted for it, does anyone have any recommendations? Is this normal? I am really panicking currently.

I am a PhD student here in Norway and I am looking to start investing into funds/stocks. Do you have any recommendations for cheap platforms? Afaik banks are usually very expensive.

M25 hier, wollte euch gerne fragen, vielleicht hat ja wer guten Input.
Wie balanciert ihr es, Karriere etc. anzustreben, gleichzeitig aber Familie und so zu sehen? Man liest ja oft, dass man die 20er für sich nutzen soll, ich finde das aber extrem schwer.
Wie geht ihr damit um? Gerade mit Eltern und Familie generell? Ich mache meinen Doktor im Ausland und bin ca. alle 2 Monate hier und es ist schon schmerzhaft zu sehen, wie die Familie so altert. Vielleicht können ja einige ältere hier im Reddit auch sagen, was sie vielleicht rückwirkend anders gemacht hätten. Bin etwas lost aktuell :D
