I've bitten my nails my entire life, I want to get out of this habit, what should I ask for at a nail salon? *also sensory issues*

I've bitten them for as long as I can remember, I hate the feeling of fake nails restricting my finger tips and can't stand feeling the nail tap against a surface when I touch it. Just stopping though willpower isn't working because I bite them without even realising especially when watching a film, going to sleep or stressed.

I don't know if salon done nails would cause these same issues as I've never had them done before, I'd get them done as short as possible so they didn't extend past my finger tips but I'm not sure what to go for.

I've used fake nails before but I hate how tight they feel around my finger and end up ripping them off because I can't deal with it. I have a physical labour job(no machinery or regulations) so I'd need something that will withstand it and I couldn't rip off myself without realising I'm doing it. Is there anything that I'd be able to cut down shorter myself when they get to the point I can feel them when I touch things?

I tried various other things, bitter tasting polish has no effect on me, black nail polish helps a bit as it catches my eye and I remember but I still forget often and end up with chips of polish in my mouth

Dry scalp, not the same thing as dandruff?

I used to think dandruff and dry scalp were the same thing as I see it grouped together absolutely everywhere and after years of using expensive dandruff shampoos and my scalp only getting worse I've realised it's probably very dry and the products weren't helping at all. My hair never feels greasy or oily so it's probably not dandruff.

Why does everyone always say "dry scalp and dandruff" when they're completely different things and the treatment seems to be wildly different?

Are there any inexpensive UK brands that would be good for the dryness while not stripping my hair dye?

Any ideas on how I can make this look less cheap?

I bought this top for under £5 on vinted, seller labelled as "unbranded brand" so I knew I was getting something cheap, I quite like the shape for layering, is it worth putting effort into DIY-ing it to look less tacky? Any ideas?

I've already done a vinegar soak to remove some of the shine, I was thinking of adding spikes around the hood, eyelets on the front to hang charms from and maybe a lace trim sewn around the bottom and patches, my only worry is it'll still come across as Temu-esque and end up making the rest of the look appear tackier

edit: I do own a sewing machine and eyelet tool so I have a few options there

Death lay into inverted crucifix drop?

Has anyone tried a death lay into inverted crucifix drop? I can't find any routines that include it , would it be too risky?

How long should your first showcase routine be?

I've never done a showcase before and have signed up for one for the start of next year, I'm going to start going to more choreo classes so I can get used to routines but I'm much better at tricks than the dance aspect.

Would 2 minutes be too short?

I like this grip but it's too messy, looking to switch, does anyone have any recommendations?

I use pole grip in my classes sometimes, usually only towards the end, my hands get very sweaty and I slide right off sometimes.

I was recommended this grip by a previous teacher and it works well but the residue is not that easy to clean off, I've seen people say it degrades the poles BC it's actually meant for silks and this particular grip is banned at studios they go to.

used to use liquid chalk at the pole society I was in and that was ok but also frustrating to clean. My hands are tough so not worried about "ripping the skin off them", It's more that I don't want to damage anything or struggle to wipe the pole down after class.

People at my current studio use dancing dust but idk which of them would be most suitable, I don't care about the glitter I just want something that works

Selling Moreme packer £30 UK only

I bought this packer quite a while ago, tried it on and didn't like it so never wore it out (or for more than a minute). It's the old basic packer style and would require an adhesive harness attachment (I think you can buy these on their website) or improvise smth.

Looking to sell for around £20 Bought it for a bit over £100 originally

*NOTE* smallest size (8cm length) also the indents and damage at the top from where I tried to make it work with the wrong kind of clip harness (see photos) I'd prefer to sell over vinted as I'm used to the way it works (cost to buyer would be more like £25 due to sites cost and postage) and would list with photo of the case and immediately reserve. I don't have the original box so please enjoy the stylish case

Sry if I'm going about this posting wrong, just hoping to help someone out who wants a realistic packer and can't afford the high prices

Please DM me if interested to work out the details, open to offers

Can I was the adhesive off nicotine patches without affecting effectiveness?

I used nicotine patches to quit once before and they worked, I didn't remember the itchiness being this bad.

I assume it's the adhesive causing this, does anyone know if I could could I wash it off somehow or remove it and use tape or armbands to keep it in place without making them less effective? I'm not sensitive to plasters or anything, just these.

Gum, pouches, lozenges and sprays make me very nauseous so I don't really have any other options for quitting things, aside cold turkey which hasnt worked before

Spell success, maybe too literal *slight*TW/SA

I did a banishing spell last year and whilst the words I used were meant more metaphorically the spell worked very accurately.

Background info: a guy I was friends with at uni (same course) SA'd two of my friends and I found out about others he did the same to, tried to cut him off but he wouldn't leave me alone, begging for understanding and spreading rumours about me.

I don't remember the exact words I included, it was to do with if he ever tries it again everyone will see his true nature and he'll face justice and if he continues spreading lies he'll meet the pavement, Idk what it really was but it was a chant that rhymed better.

A couple of weeks went by then he stopped coming into our course completely, I found out he'd fallen and gotten a concussion (he lived, still showed up at the local pub) I didn't see him at all for the rest of the year, I graduated and it seems he dropped out of uni (or was kicked out) from what I can see from the lower years course photos.

I've been super careful with my word choices from then on, wasn't really intending on causing physical harm, just wanted him to leave me and the vulnerable people he was targeting tf alone, It worked though, never saw him again

Can anyone recommend a good less expensive tobacco vanilla fragrance?

I'm looking to get a tobacco vanilla fragrance for my BFs birthday, something under £100, I've seen vanilla flash and tobacco vanille recommended but it's a bit out of my price range, not looking for essence vault style stuff and trying to avoid low quality fakes or dupes.

I'd love some recommendations, he also likes "dark, spicy, rose and leather" scents if that helps
