Hey im the guy who compared new Fox to Lucario and Rocket Raccoon. This time I got a real red fox which Google says is what Fox is based on. Google can't be wrong right?

So for starters those are pretty small paws, turns out foxs paws are tiny and is almost no wider then its leg.

Image 1 I tried to have the fox's waist and leg as vertical as I could while keeping both of their feet at the same level and Fox's belt roughly lined up with the fox's waist (eye balling it). Fox's "knees" look more bent but other then that the legs look pretty 1 to 1

Image 2 I rotated the fox to get the rest of its body some what up right. The size was not altered. Once again I eye balled the fox's waist and lined it up roughly with Fox's belt. Fox's shoulders look pretty leveled to where the fox's neck would begin if it had its head up right and not hunched.

All this said I don't think the proportions are off at all. The only thing keeping Fox from being your darn average fox dressed by its crazy owner is that he has human structured hands. If your gonna evolve to have human structured hands and stand up right I'm pretty sure your hindpaws should of adapted and evolved too.

One last thing, everyone saying Fox looks like he would tumble over his own weight, you ever consider their planetary gravity is not the same as ours? Heck that could even be why they evolved to stand up right. I don't know, I'm pretty done trying to make sense of this design.

Did Peach land any hits? I mainly remember her blocking with her umbrella.

No 19 was not planned, I wish I had time for one more but I need to wrap this up.

I seen this movie 3 times and am not a Galaxy worshipper, full movie recap basically, so letsa go.

Rosalina starts the movie, The Galaxy movie, kinda had to be done. Now to make note I think she was used perfectly. We see her power, she only gets bested once the villain in proper villain manner takes advantage of her heroism, in proper hero manner, of protecting others. This does not undermine her power.

We zip to... earth? The Bros. are on there way to answer a distress call. Its about a monster, its Yoshi, we know its Yoshi. Yoshi is adorable in the movie and is really helpful. I think its a bit silly how he instantly falls in line like he was always there like he instantly joins Luigi in teasing Mario about liking Peach even though he just joined the group and should have no idea who Peach is. But despite being the previous movies end teaser im glad they didn't spend the movie focused on growing a connection, we all just wanna see Yoshi do silly Yoshi things.

Back to Rosalina she again is bested in basically the same way and frees the Luma who was caught with her, this Luma finds its way to Peach some how, tells her Rosalina has been princessnapped and Peach and Toad are off to go find her. Mario gifts Peach her iconic umbrella which I totally didn't even notice she didn't have in the first movie. Cool nod I liked it.

The villain comes in, its none other then Bowser Jr. to no surprise, we actually already saw him twice. He abducted the castle to get Bowser. Because of shenanigans he fails and drops the castle on another planet. Bowser annoys Mario into damaging him turning him big again, as thanks he offers to be kept prisoner while they go find Peach. He then gets abducted by Jr. who reminds him of how being evil is cool... basically. This sets up a tiny conflict that Bowser is some what cool with the Bros. but doesn't want to disappoint his son, he of corse chooses his son but pulls his punches till the Boss battle.

That was a lot, but I wanna point out Jr. already has his brush and is kicking ass. He turns it into an axe and a mace and even using it like a spear. This is not a mini boss, Jr. is a menace going 1 v 3. My one issue with Jr. is he doesn't call Bowser papa and at one point straight up calls him by name.

Peach and Toad locate Rosalina via doing more but kicking then the actual main characters of the game. They need a ride and meat FOX MCCLOUD. Pause, I think most agree this is not a good Fox, this is not how fox acts in any game, I read someone say his personality was more Falso, I disagree with that too. He was more Gary Oak from the first Pokemon series, or at least that was his energy.

Jr. takes Bowser to Planet Bowser were Rosalina is captured. He then turns the doomsday canyon on to drain Rosalinas... life energy I guess. Using this Space god as a battery justifies why she was the one captured, she was the only one with the power Jr. needed.

The Bros. find Peach and Toad, the group of now 6 shoot for the stars but are immediately chased by Bowser and Jr.. On request not to kill them Jr. Instead turns the Bros. into babies and the babies make them crash. The following I'd call just a nod to Yoshi Story and Yoshi taking care of the baby Bros.. Any who the Space Observatory comes to them to give them a ride to Planet Bowser.

I have no clue where Toad is at this point and why he stopped helping, but Peach, Yoshi, and the Bros. go to Planet Bowser. The green duo go off to... do something, but find power ups for the final fight. Mario and Peach head to the very visible canyon, again i don't know where Luigi and Yoshi were going. They get caught and Jr. Puts them in a Mario Maker commercial. They beat it and Bowser shows up angry they are ruining this for his son, he has axes for some reason. Mario gets an axe tosses past Bowser, the two jump over Bowser and Mario decides TO KILL BOWSER by cutting the bridge, nice nod. They are kind enough to let Bowsers heart broken child by to morn his father. Surprise! Bowser Bones! Mario closes a gate behind Peach telling her to go save Rosalina. Mario proceeds to get his butt kicked but in comes Green Team with power ups to power them up.

Mario gets the drill, pretty cool. Luigi gets the cloud, pretty lame, and Yoshi gets... the P Balloon? Anyways they proceed to get their butts kicked till Luigi gets Jr.s brush draws Mr. Game&Watch and Mr. Game&Watch wrecks Bowser. 2 of my mains, just saying. Jr. Gets his brush back takes out the cameo and makes what i think is the dragon from Odyssey. It eats Jr., Mario uses a red star to fly, and spin attacks into the dragon saving Jr.. Peach saves Rosalina by them touching hands because apparently they are now sisters and when they high five they mass produce nature. That's basically the end.

So thoughts. I think the plot was fine. It would of worked to if the princesses weren't sisters except the end. Again I'm glad we just skipped ahead to Yoshi doing cool Yoshi things. Jr. was a dam menace and I loved it, new Smash Bros. move set be great, Peach too. Bowser seemed genuinely devoted to helping the Bros. but put being a dad first, which so happened to go against that. Seeing on how Mario saved his son I don't really know what they will do with him next. Now the controversial thing, Rosalina's screen time was fine. I played both Galaxy games, she doesn't really do anything. And her being the strongest thing in the universe to power a doomsday device makes sense. If the strongest thing in the universe was captured without sacrifice that be kinda silly but that wasn't the case. Full story aside i think they did to much with the cameos. Fox, Mr. Game&Watch, R.O.B., and even Pikmin. I also don't like how they took things from other games. This was like 20% Galaxy themed but I guess if you have an established world you might as well use it right?
