Various D4s

Some different d4s from my collection. I have many others, but for the most part they’re similar shapes to those pictured. And where dice are concerned, it’s different shapes that I find most interesting.

[18+] London D&D Meetup

If you're 18+, in London, England and seeking a regular D&D group, look no further than the London D&D Meetup!

The Meetup has 8 or more games every Saturday afternoon in central London in either Holborn or at a games club off the Strand.

We cater to all levels of experience from old hands who have been playing D&D since the '70s through to complete beginners. If you've never touched a twenty-sided die before, no problem! You don't have to know the rules, bring any gaming paraphernalia or have a character. We can lend you everything you need including dice and a choice of pre-generated characters.

We mostly play 5e (2014) and 5.5e (2024) D&D but other RPGs are played at the club including CyBorg, Warhammer FRP, Mothership, Call of Cthulhu and 1e AD&D.

There's a mix of ongoing campaigns and self-contained one-shots.

The Meetup is very friendly and welcoming. We have many LGBT members, a healthy mix of genders and attendees from all over the world.

The club has been going for over 20 years and was recently featured in the SW Londoner e-magazine: https://youtu.be/dymoNtX48oQ?si=-NdlhKokRJP-Ykn0

There's a small Meetup charge of £4 per person when we're in Holborn and a venue charge - but no Meetup charge - of £7 when we're at the club off the Strand.

If you have any questions about the London D&D Meetup, please PM me. Would be great to see you there!

Mods of Upscaled Blue Astronaut with parts guide

My mods of the Upscaled Blue Astronaut minifigure (40921). The colour correcting ones on the figure's sides and armpits aren't original to me. I did think of them myself but others came up with the same solutions and posted before me. Apologies to those modders for not linking: I've lost those posts. The chin and cockpit mods are original to me AFAIK. I have included pics of all the mods and the parts needed to replicate them as well as the parts they replace.

Here's a BSP (bag.step.page) summary:

Coming in July: Classic Space Pinball Machine

I’ve got it on good authority that a Classic Space themed pinball machine set is scheduled for release this July (2026). Details are few but it will include a light blue astronaut minifigure (with the hoped for CS helmet!) and a light blue space baby. The set will retail for $200, so probably around £180. It’s not known whether it will include any CS builds or just be decorated with CS motifs, but the inclusion of the minifigure & baby suggests the former.
In keeping with instructions from this subreddit’s mod, IF YOU FIND ANY LEAKED IMAGES, PLEASE DO *NOT* POST THEM.

Imagine my surprise when I saw in the Property & Home section of today's (5/5/26) Metro someone's interest in... dice! A woman after my own heart :~)

I only included pics of the sections about or that show her dice. Swipe right to see them all. The rest was about her creative process and her interior design choices.

The chest on the left isn't my design. It's LEGO's from set 31381 Fierce Shark with Treasure Chest. The mimic additions on the right are MOC.

I got 31381 mostly for the shark which I assembled per the instructions but am treating as a minifigure scale megalodon. I couldn't resist the urge to mod the chest though. It's just asking for some teeth, right?
