Hi all! I got an interview invite for a very competitive pediatric residency!! Does anyone have any tips for interviewing, their first interview is a panel one with a few other applicants, and then a second one on the unit!
Anyone had any tips or guidance they can provide. This is a huge opportunity and the only program that has gotten back to me in my home state
Why are the honor requirements at usfca so low? For example in most schools, summa cum laude is a 3.95 or above. Where as at usfca it’s only a 3.85? I feel like this makes it less important for recognition especially if it is a competitive or hard major?
I just recently did my first UWORLD self assessment test. I haven’t really started studying for nclex yet, but took the first test to kind of get a baseline score - I’ll probably take another after I study and prior to exam. My score is a 78%, with a percentile of 73 (163/209 points). Is this a good starting point, it says chance of passing is very high, but a 78% score seems quite low lol. I haven’t started studying or reviewing content at all, so would you say this is a good starting score for success?
Has anyone heard back from cottage health in Santa Barbara yet? They sent an email they will be reviewing and sending offers up until May 15. I haven’t been able to find much about cottage health.
I’m from the US and haven’t yet brought my cat to the vet given busyness with school and work. My cat is a 5 year old spayed female, not changes with appetite or bathroom. But, I noticed my cat has started to lose hair. First it was the belly, I thought it was getting better as hair seems to slowly be growing back. I got feliway and changed the food as I read it may often times be due to anxiety or allergies.
However, recently she has been losing hair on her back paws. I don’t think it’s fleas as she doesn’t seem to have any when I checked. She is quite an anxious cat so I wonder if it is over grooming?

Hi guys. So recently my oliveyoung (Korean skincare) package got delivered. I thought it was stolen for two days, but as it turns out the delivery driver just chucked it in the bush by the doorway so it wouldn’t be stolen. I only just found it today but it has been sitting out.
It was in a shaded area behind the bush and was enclosed in a box, but do you think the sunscreens are still okay? I thought it wasn’t good for skincare to be in an area that was too hot as it may make it lose its effectiveness. It’s honestly not too hot where I am (San Francisco) so I hope it’s okay lol. At least package wasn’t stolen 🥹
Hi! So I recently had a package stolen, it delivered and I got home only 20 minutes after I got the fedex message and it was gone. My apartment doesn’t have a camera but I noticed the neighbors across the street seem to have a ring camera / doorbell thing. Is it worth a shot to write a letter and tape it to their door just to see if they have captured anything? Just wanted footage to see how it happened (since I’ve have one package stolen in the past lol) as well as to see if I can get a refund from the company :(
