There is a chair in our office nobody is allowed to sit in and no one currently employed knows why the rule started.
Its a maroon chair at the end of the row by the window. Everything else on our floor is the same black mesh thing chair which broke its wheel after someday but this one is older and softer chair in the building and it has been empty for as long as anyone can know.
We hired a guy in august and in his second day he wheeled it over to a standup because it was closer. Literally 3 people said not that one at the exact same time. It was soo immediate. He put it back and later asked me what that was about and i realized i had no answer.
I been saying not that one for months without ever asking whyyy The longest person on our floor joined in 2019 She says the rule was already in place, and that she was told it was someones chair but she doesnt know whose. She asked once and got the sense she shouldnt ask again.
There is also a joke and i can't tell how much of a joke it is. Mostly will tell you its haunted in different tones.
Our office manager has been here 15 straight feakin years. I finally asked him YESTERDAY and he said who told you to ask about that and dont ever ask this infront of our boss ever and i said nobody and he said okay and went to work.
I FEEL LIKE IM IN A MYSTERY THRILLER SHOW NOW
Looking for two-wheeler parking near Anandpuri, Moti Dungri Road — willing to pay rent!
Hey Jaipur! 👋
Me and 2-3 colleagues are looking for a parking spot for our two-wheelers near Anandpuri, Moti Dungri Road area. Our office is in this location but unfortunately doesn't have enough parking space, and they're asking us to park at City Pulse Mall which has free parking — but it's about 1km away from our office, which means we have to figure out a way to get back and forth every single day. Not ideal at all.
So if anyone in the Anandpuri / Moti Dungri Road area has:
- A spare spot in their parking / garage
- A society or building with extra space
- Any vacant plot or space they're not using
- if you have bigger place we can add our more colleagues but if now 2-3 peoples spot is enough
We would love to talk! We're happy to pay a monthly rent, totally flexible on that. Number of people could be 2-3 or more depending on how much space is available.
DM me or drop a comment if you know anyone or have something available. Would really appreciate the help! 🙏
Halfway through this... And maybe never gonna read durjoy dutta again 💢

I picked this up because i follow durjoy on Instagram and genuinely enjoy his reels he comes across as thoughtful and sweet when he talks about his family and things.I expected something similar from his writing but that's not what I got.
The book opens with a terrorist bomb attack mostly to hook the reader but then almost immediately abandons any serious tone and becomes the main character obsessing over his wife after nearly every other line. The plot keeps getting buried under it.
Heres an honest take even wattpad stories or fifty shades type books handle this better because they re upfront about what they are. They have a clear motive. You can't open with a bomb attack, gesture at something deeper and then spend the rest of the book reducing love to physical attraction. A relationship built purely on someone's hotness isnt a love story.
The bigger issue for me is that his best friends relationship with a minor is treated as completely normal by the main character himself no discomfort from him in fact while this is literally happening around him he is simultaneously noticing the same minor girl and thinking about his wife and Its genuinely unsettling how unbothered he is.
Its also hard to ignore the main characters wife is named Avantika the same as durjoy real wife. The way he portrays her in this book feels nothing like the warmth he shows in his reels the same name very different treatment.
Honestly If someone tells me durjoy is their favourite author I'm judging. Is this typical of his writing style? I genuinely want to understand what his readers connect with
