So my cat looks a lot like an owl sometimes, and my Romanian parents like to call him a “bufniţă” which means owl in Romanian. I always thought my owlbear looked like him, so I named it after him.

This is basically a minor irrelevant detail, however it still for some reason confuses me. In Fuller House season 5 episode 10 “If the Suit Fits” which is the episode where Joey invites the Gibbler parents to the engagement party he’s throwing for the she wolfs, Kimmy says “What’s really gonna blow their minds, they’ve never seen me with straightened hair!” But in Full house, Kimmy had straight hair all the time, even in the theme song intro, teen Kimmy has straight hair so I’m just really confused by this?
Hi everyone, I’ve had my eyebrow piercing for 3 months now and yesterday the ball fell out. I called the piercing shop but they didn’t have availability, but they had availability for today at 1pm. I put a bandaid over to try to keep the bar in, but it slipped through overnight. I gently tried to push it back in and it didn’t go through, so I stopped as I didn’t want to cause any irritation. I noticed when I tried to push it through the bar would slowly sneak back out and I don’t want it to full fall out, so I put a small bandaid right on that area so it wouldn’t slip through.
I love my eyebrow piercing, it my favourite piercing. When I got it, the pain was no minor and the swelling went down quicker than all my other friends when they got theirs, and I feel I got really lucky with my healing process. However I’m scared they won’t be able to get it back in, and I’ll lose it, or it will reject. I have severe anxiety as well so my mind makes up all kinds of bad scenarios so I can separate the reality of the situation from what my brain is telling me, so here I am trying to get outsiders perspectives.
Hi everyone! I’ve had my mermaid mansion for a while now and don’t really use it at all so I’m trading it! It’s basically new and I haven’t done anything to it.
Oh my goodness… where do I start. So I’m 17 years old and a major senior art student at my high school and I’ve been using white air dry clay for sculptures for about 2 years now, since it’s what my art class had available and became the medium I was used too. Because I’ve made 4 studio sculptures ( medium sized ) and other mini ones with that clay, I got way too used to it and wouldn’t have any new content for my process portfolio.
Then during a class critique, my art teacher said I should make a bigger sculpture, and that was an idea on my mind for a while but never had time to do it. Now we’re on our final performance task and I finally have the opportunity to do a bigger sculpture, specifically inspired by Jasmin Bean’s ( aswangpaints on IG) frunklebees. I saw that they used foam clay, so I looked into it, watched a few videos then was like fuck it let’s get on it now.
So I bought a tin of it on Amazon, posted to this subreddit for input on the skeleton, used insulation foam that I carved into desired shapes, sanded those down, hot glued it all together and started sculpting. As I was sculpting I couldn’t get it to blend properly, but I was used to that since the air dry clay I had been previously using was prone to not blending entirely and cracking.. a lot, which I filled in with molding paste but still. So I thought okay, people say it doesn’t blend too well but all good mate, I’ll just sand it down.
So I set down my unblended wonky ass sculpture to dry, a came back a few hours later and the mfer had blended itself together, was so light, so smooth, and omg my dream came true: THERE WAS NO CRACKING!
The pros of this clay are that it’s not messy at all, can be applied in thin layers without cracking, is so light, and in my experience blended itself together.
I literally love foam clay so much now even tho I’ve only made one thing with it. I added some pics to show my process work and how it went from unblended to blended with no action.
I cannot gatekeep, I need people to know how good this clay is I’m crying at how much I love it this is my go to from now on.
Hi everyone, I’ve recently noticed that a few days before I start my bleed, I get really anxious like there’s something heavy on my chest pounding for attention. I’m 17, I have intense trauma, autism, adhd, severe anxiety and complex PTSD. A few days before my bleed I get this horrible anxiety, worse than my usual and it gives me mental breakdowns where I’m just crying non stop, lashing out at my father who I live with and played a big role in my trauma, and just letting so much out because I can’t hold it in anymore.
Now, I’m on day 3 of my cycle. I was in the hospital a few days ago because of my horrible anxiety giving me bad bad thoughts and unmanageable emotional dysregulation. I heard this can be a sign of the body letting go of suppressed energy, but I’m needing more insight. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, and any guidance as to my next step forward?
Hi everyone, I just got a “RetroLife” record player and it plays Mac Millers “Watching movies with the sound off” record perfectly, but I just got “The Divine Feminine” blueberry vinyl and it plays skips beats frequently on one song, then plays part of another perfectly, then skips again, then plays perfectly, then skips again. I’m so frustrated since I spent almost 80 dollars of my own saved up babysitting money on this record, it’s new, clean everything, but my other record ( watching movies with the sound off) was initially used for decor, so it had dust and stratches yet plays every song perfectly, only skipping where there’s scratches and it’s minimal so doesn’t bother me. I don’t understand why this new record plays some parts of songs perfectly then skips, then skips an entire song. I don’t understand and I’m so anxious and frustrated since I’ve spent so much money, and I’m a minimum wage teenager worker with not a lot to spend.
Hi everyone! I’m planning on making a large bear foam clay sculpture, inspired by Jazmin’s Beans frunklebees, however I have no idea how to make an armature for a project like this. I’m used to skinny wire armatures covered in aluminum foil, but that wouldn’t be suitable for a project thick like this, so I’m wondering, cardboard that I then cover in aluminum? This sculpture is gonna be toddler sized so I truly have no idea for an armature like this. I put a reference picture as well so you all know what I’m going for with this project. Thanks!!

I just wanna share the story of how I got my lovely boy. When I was 14, I had moved from my mom’s house to my dads for safety reasons. I had been very depressed at the time since it was a tough situation, I didn’t really know my dad and my boyfriend at the time had moved away. At my moms, I had 2 cats and had grown up with them, so there was a lot of changes. One day, my friend had invited me over and told me she was getting a dog via kijiji. We were both 14-15, both very mature and independent, but very depressed and found that animals gave us purpose, hope and happiness.
Then I saw a kijiji post about a cat that needed a home quickly. I had messaged them and said I’d be glad to get him. I know I could’ve asked my parents, but I was sure they would’ve said no. I then spent all my babysitting savings on getting everything needed and hid it all in my room. The next day I told them I could get him tomorrow, made myself look older, got on a bus, got him in the new carrier I got for him and took an uber home. He must’ve been 1/4 the size of the carrier at the time. When he was home, my step mom immediately loved him, but it took my dad time to adjust. We had taken him to get all his shots, and when they weighed him he was 3 pounds. The docs told us he would grow to be a big cat, and we looked at our 3 pounds tiny boy and didn’t believe it.
Fast forward to now, I’m 17, I have a wonderful relationship with my dad and my stepmom, and my dad now LOVES my cat. He even says he never knew he could love a cat so much. My cat is now HUGE and around 23 pounds! We will soon be celebrating his 3rd birthday! I put a photo of him when he was a baby vs now. I love my little guy and just wanted to share🩷
my cat really likes to sleep in corners. His favourite corner is my step mom’s bent leg corner. My cat meows over and over again at 5am and me and my dad sleep through it, but she doesn’t and therefore wakes up to pet him while he eats his food. as a result, she takes her naps daily at around 3pm, and my cat joins her everytime to sleep in her leg corner.
