Now that we have a Pit Summary and Car Damage UI, can we PLEASE get a Damage Repair UI?
iRacing devs, we're getting so close here. We all want to be able to choose which damage to fix and know how long it's going to take to do so.

Update on Shelf Keyhole Slot (New to 3D Printing)
A couple of days ago, I posted on this subreddit asking for input on how to best design and print accessories for this heavy-duty shelf that uses keyhole-style slots. Seeing how I was completely new to 3D printing, I wasn’t really sure where to start. Thankfully, I received a lot of great comments and information that allowed me to get started. This led me down the rabbit hole of using OpenSCAD and Fusion to develop and prototype a couple of mounting solutions for which I got some really solid tolerances thanks to a digital caliper. Since then, I’ve created a couple of designs that are specific to what I wanted to do - which is mostly organize and hang a variety of cycling accessories like shoes, helmets, HRMs, etc - all printed using my P1S and PETG filament. As other people demonstrated on the previous thread though, this has a lot more potential for people that keep these shelves in their garages, offices, or shops - so I wanted to return the favor and share the hook model on MakerWorld and uploaded the .STL files to Google Drive of both the hook and the base plate that slots into the keyholes - in case anyone wants to create their own accessories.
Like in the previous thread, I’m open to comments and or feedback - specially since this is my first design. Thanks all!
Half-Lap Formations Should be the New Standard
With IMSA at Fuji this week being a half-lap for the race formation, this has to be the first time in a long time that I’ve seen little to no formation lap accidents. Nobody weaving wildly for two minutes. Nobody constantly slamming on their brakes. Nobody being run off the track. Nobody getting rear-ended and losing their bumper. Nobody aggressively rejoining because they fell behind. Just people in a god damn line all the way to the start. Please iRacing, make this the default for every race.
Law enforcement identifies drunk driver suspected of hitting bicyclist south of Durango, Colorado
A man suspected of hitting a bicyclist Tuesday south of Durango admitted to drinking three beers prior to the crash and had an open bottle of Southern Comfort in the truck, according to an arrest affidavit.
Thomas Huntsman, 39, was arrested on suspicion of felony vehicular assault, drunken driving, driving with an open container of alcohol and driving without insurance. He had been released from the La Plata County Jail as of Wednesday.
The cycling community identified the injured cyclist as Elliott Saslow, 32, who coaches with Durango Devo, a local cycling group.
Saslow suffered broken bones, including a broken pelvis, according to those in the cycling community. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in serious condition.

My 24 hour experience in Vancouver has been at least 5 people publicly smocking crack pipes on the sidewalk - is this normal?
Visiting Vancouver for the first time. We got here last night. Walked around downtown for dinner, breakfast this morning, and now dinner tonight. I’ve seen a minimum of five people smoking crack on the sidewalk - and one of them was kind enough to blow the smoke at my wife. I was really excited to visit Vancouver but I have to admit I have very little interest in coming back after this trip.
FEMA Official Who Claimed He Once Teleported to a Waffle House Is Leaving
nytimes.comRace Start > Yellow Flag > Black Flag > Penalty
Let me check what just happened.
I started middle of the field at ViR GT3. As soon as the leader takes off, three cars in front of my wreck out and I drive past them, then I get a black flag and a stop and hold penalty for “passing under yellow”, which might as well have instantly disqualified me from the race because I finished 19th after serving over a minute going through the pits.
Is that really how the start programming is? I get basically DQ’d and lose 100 iR because the cars in front of me crashed?
Driver cites Martin Luther King Jr because Toyota won't give him a free engine
“The Tundra owners’ community is disappointed, to say the least, to learn of the remedy for the most recent V35A engine recall,” Gregg said. “I’m reminded of a great quote from Martin Luther King Jr., ‘The time is always right to do what is right.’
Looking for Third GT3 Drivers - Watkins Glen 6h (30+, A or B License, 1500-1800 iR, USA)
We’re a small group of friends split between US East and US Mountain that try to practice, qualify, and race GT3 Americas and GT3 Challenge almost every week - life permitting. We’re in our 30s and have professional STEM careers. We’ve been on iRacing for well over a year and race pretty cleanly, but maybe not as fast as we’d like to be since we have kids and jobs. Looking for like-minded drivers to try to do more endurance events. Younger is alright if you can act maturely. We’re currently looking at the 6 hours of the Glen. We’re timing clean laps at 1:46.200 in practice, with some headroom to run 1:45.800. If you’re interested, send me a DM. A screenshot of a few consistent laps around the Glen would be helpful.
Thanks!
Can’t even redeem the codes they advertise. LOL.
Canceling My iRacing Subscription if this Driver Isn't Permanently Banned
This person started at the back of the field at Lime Rock in GT3 Americas, spun themselves out on lap 2, then proceeds to park their car and block the chicane moving their car back and forth until they wrecked half the field. This is as blatant as a lack of sportsmanship gets in this game.
USAA R1S Coverage Up 50% for No Personal Reason
We’ve had our R1S for 9 months now and coming up on our insurance renewal, USAA decided to increase the cost of coverage by more than 50% across the board. No changes to driver history. Our other cars went up barely 10%. What the hell?
