Nassau Street Partners Feedback

Intentionally leaving this vague. Who has experience with NSP (good or bad)?

They appear to simply be paid placement. I am not asserting this as bad, as investment banks have used this model for years but it does appear to be a significant investment to have them rep you, with zero guarantee.

Thanks in advanced

VC/PE Conferences for Data Centers?

I’m attending IMN’s Data Center PE conference (West) this year in October. Are there other useful conferences I should consider attending for Venture or PE connections in the space?

Working at Anthropic

I would imagine there are employees who work at Anthropic on this sub willing to give feedback.

I’m finishing up an exit of my company after 17 years in code and infrastructure and looking to leave the midwest and head to the Bay/Valley.

I’ve looked at communities like Los Gatos, which seem nice if you have kids (I have four). Since Anthropic has 25% in office requirements, what’s the flexibility in drive hours? Can employees work those office hours early to bypass crazy traffic?

Whats the work culture like?

How have you liked working there? Anyone is welcome to DM me if you don’t want to say something on the public sub.

ATF change,drop pan or not?

I have a 2018 Mazda 3 Sport with 158k miles on the OEM ATF.

I got some shipped in along with a filter (and it came with a gasket instead of sealant).

Just this week it started showing some signs like slow shifting once in a while so it’s time to get this done but I was curious if there is really that much benefit to dropping the pan and doing the filter as well?!?

I could swap the fluid in a few minutes but removing the underbody protection and doing the pan and filter is honestly a real pain in the ass lol.

Anyone just changing their ATF regularly out there and not the filter??

Dividend stocks to sell covered calls against?

Title sort of says it.

I like to sell covered calls after the market pops, when it’s about to consolidate. I choose conservative OTM targets, and 98% of the time collect premiums without getting assigned.

I’m on the hunt for some Dividend stocks that pay 3-4% and have enough IV to sell calls against?

Longevity

I am a big Japanese car owner. Because I work on my own vehicles for 25+ years and Japanese vehicles are easy to get parts and work on.

But I am looking at some low-miles used Cayennes. These seem like great vehicles and fun.

But is it realistic to keep these vehicles to 300k miles? How hard is it to get parts? Does Porsche lock you out of working on your own vehicle and require all kinds of specialized tools to do things?

$AIM turn around finally?

Someone mentioned AIM on this sub and went YOLO so I bought some last week out of solidarity.

Up 130% today so far. But Q1 results show the bleeding has stopped with the new CEO. $9.8M deficit to a $2.1M positive.

Cancer drugs moving thru trials well so far. This was always a bet for me, either to the moon or to $0 but it’s interesting watching it today after announcing possible Ebola efficacy for existing products.

Anyone wind up jumping up?
