for those few minutes, his right to bear arms was infringed

i don't know how i feel about a police officer being able to disarm a person unless that person has shown to be a threat. the fact that the motorcyclist was disarmed like an enemy combatant for something as simple as a traffic stop doesn't seem right. maybe i'm wrong but rights are rights.

after reading many of the comments, i wanted to add this for the record:

i would always comply with police officers because i understand their job is dangerous which is to uphold the law. if the law says i must submit my weapon in a search and temporary seizure of my private property, my private body and my private vehicle, then i would do so because i respect the law (even if its against my 2nd Amendment right)... not only because i wouldn't want them to end me... that is sad that we live like this.

we all have the right to question contradictions in traffic laws and how they are enforced.

It doesn’t take rocket appliances to figure it out

Debate settled. We can shut down this sub now

why so many holes in that car

i don't see any blood on the seats so i'm thinking maybe used for target practice. if not, whoever was on the receiving end of that can't be happy about it.
