Hi,

learning Gragas Top and just played vs Yorick. Once he hit 6 it was unplayable. Couldn't kill his Ult or his ghouls. He just kept pushing and didn't really take any damage, or always managed to trade back. I also had a hard time even reaching him due to his ghouls, cage and Ult.

I ran Grasp with Roa into Seraphs. I feel like it's not the correct build, but some squishy AP version doesn't sound that much better either.

How do I play the matchup and what's the correct runes + build?

is anyone of you playing jack of all trades on Ambessa?

Tried it earlier with conq and ended up at like 70 something haste with almost full build.

It felt very nice to play team fights, but I only reached 9 stacks of JOAT.

My build was: Dorans blade, Umbrail, DD, Maw, Merc boots and executioners.

I'm currently trying to think of an ideal build, I definitely wanna have endless hunger in it.

bei mir geht es um einen Nissan Qashqai 1.3 dig 158 PS von 2022 Automatik vs einen Mazda 3 2.0 E Skyactive G 150PS von 2023 Automatik.

Qashqai liegt bei 70.000km und der Mazda bei 45.000km.

Beide liegen bei 22.000€

Der Qashqai bietet mehr Ausstattung und ist eben ein Turbobenziner.

Allerdings habe ich gehört / gelesen, dass der Motor des Mazda's praktisch einer der Zuverlässigsten auf dem Markt ist und der Qashqai eher Probleme machen könnte.

Außerdem habe ich beim Qashqai gelesen, dass die Batterie sich entlädt, nach 2 Wochen Nichtbenutzen des Autos, da es nur eine 12V Batterie ist.

Der Mazda gefällt mir auch deutlich besser, doch ist halt ein Saugmotor, weshalb er häufiger in hohen Drehzahlbereich muss, um Leistung bringen zu können. Das bedeutet natürlich auch höherer Verbrauch und Lautstärke.

Ich fahre aktuell meistens Landstraße und ein bisschen in der Stadt. Ich möchte aber in den nächsten 2-3 Jahren umziehen und es ist realistisch, dass ich mehr Richtung Stadt ziehe.

Außerdem fahre ich aktuell deutlich mehr Kurzstrecke als lange Fahrten, da hörte ich ebenfalls, dass das beim Qashqai eher Probleme machen könnte.

Was sind eure Erfahrungen? Hat der Mazda 3 dennoch genug Power, auch unter 4.000 Umdrehungen?

Natürlich werde ich beide noch Probefahren, doch es würde mich freuen, wenn ihr mir eure Meinung mitteilen könntet :)

1. At what rev range is the automatic at let's say 130kmh / 81 miles?

2. Do you notice a difference in power between the two? Like is it worth getting the 150HP automatic one?

I've got 2 offers:

Manual at 19.500€ Exclusive Line trim (for example 360 degree camera and Bose sound system)

Automatic at 21.900€ Homura trim

Both from 2023 and at about 40.000km / 25.000 miles driven

What would you go for and why?

Currently I mostly drive on country roads and smaller cities, but I might move more towards the city in 1-2 years and I'm planning to drive this car for a long time. On top of that, I'm planning trips with my gf (let's say drives that take about 1-8 hours)

What's your recommendation and why?

I did a lot of research and decided to get a Mazda 3. Seems like a comfortable and reliable car (and I love its design).

My car shop has those 2 models:

2.0 e skyactive G 122HP manual 2023 - Select line (so a higher equipment level) 19.500€

Or

2.0 e skyactive G 150HP automatic 2023 - Homura 21.900€

Both have the same amount of kilometers, around 40k.

I don't mind driving a manual, but in general I prefer an automatic - it's just so comfortable and relaxed.

But I also know that a manual from Mazda feels amazing.

I definitely prefer the higher level of equipment with the manual, but I'm a bit concerned about the HP. Let's say I'd want to overtake someone, I'd probably have to go from gear 5 to 3 to get some power.

Maybe that would be a bit more comfortable with the automatic.

Those are just my thoughts, but what are your experiences? What are your recommendations?

- Played ADC for many years and my peak was D3

I switched to Toplane yesterday, since I've never played the role and I'm very interested in it and it's champs. I'm planning to play top for a long time and make it my best role.

Anyway - I decided to mainly play Ambessa.

​

Today I played vs a Malphite and tbh, I didn't really know what to do. He just face tanked me after this second or third recall (let's say plated Steelcaps + bamis cinder (the burn item from Sunfire). Something like that.

​

He won every trade/fight and was able to poke me down with Qs and eventually even get 2 kills with Ult and ignite.

​

He played with grasp and went full tank.

​

I figured I'd use conqueror as my main rune with triumph, legend haste and last stand. Secondary I used second wind and the tenacity rune (unflinching?)

​

My first item was Eclipse and then black Cleaver.

​

Conqueror felt good before his first recall, since I was able to get a good extended trade vs him. After that, I felt kinda useless as he would just face tank my whole damage and out trade me.

​

With eclipse it didn't get better, I still lost vs him.

​

Im wondering if I should have bought black Cleaver first - is that good in such a tank matchup?

​

Grasp would have much been great for the landing phase. It would have helped me keep my turret longer and also improve my trading power.

​

Conqueror scales better though and I'd guess if we both have 3 items I'd be able to 1v1 him if I get a long fight.

​

That 1v1 never happened since there were a lot of Team fights (conqueror was nice there).

​

So please answer my question:

​

- is Black Cleaver first item good in such matchups and better than eclipse?

​

- Is Grasp better for a better laning phase? Or is conqueror fine and I just played it poorly?

​

- What are your experiences with full tank matchups?

I'm about to start learning toplane. Been playing Adc for years (and second most support).

A few months ago I played Jungle, bc I was interested in the role and discovered that I really enjoyed playing bruisers. Even though I wasn't that good, it was still fun.

Recently I decided to become a top main. I want something completely new. There are so many cool champs, that I've never played before.

I watched some content and decided to go with Ambessa as my main Champ/blind. I'll pick 2-3 other champs too, but mostly Ambessa. I already played her in Jungle a few game and she was fun.

So - what are your general tips on her?

I've watched some Coach Chippys content about her and I remember the following:

- Grasp 90% of the time (since I'm still learning her and the role) but I'll use Electrocute into Range Matchups

- I prefer the bruiser build so I'll probably have a core of Eclipse, Black Cleaver and Deaths Dance

- Short trades in lane

- Backline Diver in Teamfight

- Not a great split pusher/side laner, so my goal is to push side wave and then rotate to mid to look for a play

- Strong 1 and 2 item power spike

I didn't watch anything about specific matchups.

Do you have some more general tips out of your own experience? How good is she currently even? (His videos were a bit old) Is there a good Ambessa content creator that I should look into?

I've been an ADC Main for many years. My peak was D3, then I took some breaks and played other games. Currently I'm E3 but I'm not playing actively, as ADC just tilts me too much in soloq.

A few months ago, I played Jungle for some while bc I wanted to try it out. I didn't like jungling itself, but I enjoyed the type of champs there (mostly played fighters like Xin/J4 etc)

Ive never played top before, but there are so many champs I'm interested in. So I really want to become a solid Toplaner.

Now I'd like to know your opinions for my champs to start learning the role.

I'm in a team with friends too, so my champion pool should be competitive viable.

So I'd like 1 champ per criteria:

1. General blindpick: Gragas

2. Blind AD Champ: Renekton? Are there better options?

3. Frontline: Ornn

4. AP Source: Vlad (played him in the past) or Morde

If you can think of more situations, please let me know and preferably mention a fitting champ.

Other champs I'm interested in, so you can give me champs based on my preferred pool:

Volibear, Jax, Darius, Zaahen, Ambessa, Gnar, Malphite, Olaf, Shen, Zac, Poppy, Wukong, Trundle

Not sure yet: Camille, Udyr, GP
