Is too much experience bad for internships?
24 year old junior accounting and finance student here. I've been looking for fall 2026, spring, and summer 2027 internships, but the search has been harder than I expected.
I've had multiple interviews with large companies that fell through (partially my fault I guess), but besides those I haven't gotten any more.
Attached is my resume. I'm wondering if I have too much experience and they're assuming I'm older than I am. I also go to a non target online school, and I'm applying for mostly financial analysis and financial systems internships.
If I'm being delusional let me know, and please critique my resume if you notice anything wrong.
