I do not go to a target school.

I did not do any extra curriculars in high school, and I even took a few gap years before going to college.

I'm 24 years old now, female, and will be 25 when I graduate (August 2027, willing to push it back for internships), with a bachelors in Mathematics. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and intend to keep it that way. I've also got one internship under my belt in private finance at a biotech company.

A masters degree is an option depending on the career I'm able to break into.

How should I pace this? Which internships should I target? Admittedly, I didn't know what I wanted to do until I discovered credit risk modeling under a reddit thread two weeks ago. That interests me. I want to do that.

Please help me find something to read.

I prefer books that are mature in tone, decent smut, plot driven, and with angst.

I do not enjoy YA/high school romance.

Toxicity is also enjoyable.

Books I loved: Midnight Rain, BOBITMS, Backwards to Oregon, Big Swiss, Her Spell That Cursed Me, Hungerstone, Behind the Green Curtain, A Whisper of Solace.

I just want to make 120k+. 4.0 GPA, and the degree is programming focused.

Edit: My major was originally in accounting. I fell in love with the math aspect of it, but found accounting itself extremely boring, so I decided to switch to mathematics.

I heard you could still break into finance with a math degree.

Is the book needed for this class?

I have an internship coming up this fall with Moog, and I'm wondering what's the best way to secure housing and transportation.

I wouldn't mind getting an air bnb in downtown buffalo, but the internship is in East Aurora, which is a $100 per day transportation cost via uber.

Any ideas?

Day 2 of of my first reta dose (1mg), and I'm experiencing a salivary gland issue.

You know that feeling where the back of your jaw kinda stings after taking your first bite of food for the day? Well I'm getting that constantly, with every bite I take. It begins to sting and release saliva as I chew, which makes it uncomfortable to eat. When I move my jaw I can feel pressure in the left gland.

I've never experienced this before, and nothing in my routine has changed other than the Reta.

I'm honestly not too worried as I didn't have any effects on dose day or the day after, and the right gland has gone down now. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this as there's only one thread of someone going through something similar (on the main sub), but the replies insist that it isn't the Reta.

5'8 172lb female if this matters.

How do you do it? I've read so many stories of women being kidnapped off the road or being victims of a man's random spout of rage.

I can always just go to the gym and use the treadmill, but why drive to the gym to run when I can just run, you know?

Also, do you wear headphones while running outdoors?

Hello everyone.

Currently doing a spring/summer finance internship (started in may), and I'll be doing another at a large reputable company at the end of this summer and into the fall.

I'd like to start applying for 2027 internships, so the sooner the better.

Should I list my upcoming internship on my resume? I'd have already completed it by the time I start another in 2027, so I figured it'd be nice for them to know that when considering me. The company name may also give me a bit more leverage.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for some advice as a non-target no brand name student.

I'm a junior accounting & finance student with a minor in applied mathematics at an online university, and I'm taking some programming courses (4.0 gpa). I am currently interning at a biotech company in the finance department (Accounting & Finance intern), and I have accounts receivable work experience.

I do not want to be an accountant.

Option 1: Do what I can with my undergrad and see how far it takes me + learn programming languages before graduation.

Option 2: Pursue my masters in analytics at Georgia Tech, continue studying code, try to break into quant adjacent roles or fintech.

Option 3: Currently interviewing for a tech consulting internship position at a top 30 firm. If I get it then also receive a full time offer, just accept it and not pursue a masters at all (also continuing to study code).

Phony refusing to take accountability and instantly blaming Evan, Gen feeding face off 10 damage then making it everyone else's problem, Evan refusing to speak up for himself.

It's genuinely hard to watch. They've been through two coaches and cannot figure it out.

They've had two really big on stream arguments the past two days (Phony saying Gen is an idiot who thinks he's god, Evan telling them he's tired of being blamed, Gen arguing with the coach).
