1980 GT80 Carb help

where can I find the rubber o ring and shim for where the carb mounts to the intake spigot? mine are old and cracked and the bike barely runs due to an air leak from them. none of the carb rebuild kits have them and I can’t find any online. thanks

1969 Parking brake release

I got my 69 running for the first time in like 40 years but I need to move it now using a tractor to pull it out of a rut, however the parking brake is on. some guys said it was vacuum powered so I’m going to try starting it again in neutral this time, that should disable it rigjt? otherwise, where is the manual release? I found a small black lever near it but when I pull it I just hear a vacuum diaphragm sound

Where is the hood latch on a 69 T bird??

I know it’s a 429 but I want to see the engine. I CANNOT find the latch. I found one right under the hood on top of the grill, but it seems to be a secondary latch. is there a primary one im missing somewhere?

Got a free Yamaha CT1 with a “cracked head”

generous neighbor gave me this bike while I was ironically walking my other bike home after it died on me. he said he thought it had a cracked head and was leaking compression. my gauge says the opposite. is it even safe to run a 2 stroke with compression that high without it dieseling?

Is this rod knock, exhaust leak, or normal 2 stroke sound? PLEASE HELP

I’m worried because getting a new rod and/or rod bearing is effectively impossible.

piston looks decently worn and may have what looks like a crack, getting a new one is next to impossible. can I send it or do I need a rebuold?

the piston looks decently worn, and it looks to have what could possibly be a crack. Do I need a new top end or is it ok to send? getting a new piston is pretty close to impossible
