Found my dad's original fallout trilogy disc, auto install isn't running :/

Title basically says it all. My dad was a big fallout fan, and I also am because I'd watch him play. Anyways I got to keep his game discs when he passed and never really messed with them until today. I have a disc drive, but I'm not sure if it's the right kind? I can burn CDs with it and watch movies, however the game disc isn't booting the auto install. I don't really know what to do in this situation because the disc drive isn't even showing up in my files or registering as being plugged in. any help is appreciated, tyia

edit: There's also another disc with the actual game disc, it's a memorex cd-r disc

First appointment after becoming an adult

I have my first appointment in 6 days, the first one in 3 years. I know I should've gone way sooner but I had issues finding a pcp among other things. I'm a bit worried about it since I'll be alone, and I have no clue if this doctor will take my symptoms seriously and not just chalk it up to my weight. I understand that the weight can contribute to it, but the pain I've had has been there since before I gained it :/ idk I think I'm maybe worrying about it for no reason, but then there's all the horror stories I've heard about other people with chronic pain being dismissed because of their weight or other reasons

Minolta lens cap help

Need help with this lens cap, I can't seem to get it off, and I'm wondering if it's a me issue or if it's an issue with the actual cap. I've tried twisting it clockwise and counter clockwise, as well as pulling, none of it worked sadly. Didn't pull too hard as I didn't want to accidentally damage the lens. This was my mother's camera and probably hasn't been touched for a good 20 or so years as she thought there was an issue with the mirror

ETA: It's a Minolta X-370 if you wanted/needed to know!

Astrophotography with Rebel T7 & 18-55mm lens

I'm interested in astrophotography and I'm using the above stated camera/lens, though I'm not sure about settings at all. I live in a pretty dark area with some light pollution, but not much from what I can tell, as I can see quite a few stars. I have a tripod, and another lens, though that one is better for close ups. I'm definitely an amateur, though I do have a little experience, any help is appreciated!

Unemployed for a year with very little experience, should I just omit my previous jobs?

I've been unemployed for about a year now, and my last job was at a grocery chain. I unfortunately was only there for roughly a month in total, same with the job before that. I was fired from both places, the most recent for not working fast enough, and the older for not passing EVOC. There was a policy change that didn't happen for another two months after I was fired saying anyone who didn't pass was terminated immediately. I was fired for that policy.

I'm wondering if I should just remove the experience as a whole since neither was for longer than a month?? I also unfortunately live about 30 minutes from the nearest possible job, and I'm wondering if that's also an issue??? I don't really know what to do, and I feel bad not being able to help with bills, but I've had a total of one interview that resulted in nothing, every other application had nothing else happen.

Learning anatomy after 12 years of drawing

I've been drawing since I was 9, but never took art class and never learned the fundamentals. I'm trying to learn but it's genuinely making me want to cry because I don't understand what I'm supposed to do or where to start. I've done "figure studies" before, but they only looked good when I was drawing over the actual picture. As soon as I tried to do it with the picture as a reference it looked wrong and completely off in terms of proportions and such :/

Self study is a struggle because of the overwhelming amount of tutorials and materials. Like I get the basics of "break things down" but not the how or with what shapes. Should I just start over completely?

I added the latest "figure study" so you could see what I meant by my saying it looks wrong when I try to use the pic as just a reference :/

Swollen left tonsil

I get tonsil stones pretty regularly, but recently got sick and my left tonsil is riddled with large tonsil stones at the moment. It's pretty swollen and hurts to swallow, but I'm not sure what exactly to do about it at the moment. My stones are primarily allergy induced afaik and I just ordered a tonsil stone flushing water pik thing.

And advice to help with the swelling?

Also I'm really considering getting my tonsils removed all together because of the stones and the fack that for the last 3 ish years I've had strep and once mono every May/June :/

Fruit flies or other moisture type fly?

I know the picture is horrible quality, but its the best I can get without spooning them. We've been having these guys in our kitchen for about a week, not an idea as to why, but still. I set out a couple vinegar traps about 10 minutes ago, but none have gone to them, though im not sure if I need to give it more time. They're really annoying and I just want them to be gone :/
