I am an American visiting London and have always admired Rupert Lowe. I am amazed at how diverse the city has come with so many people not speaking English (like my native NY) and looking like they have no interest in assimilating.

Strangely, it does not seem to bother ethically, white Britons here that they are at risk of becoming an ethnic minority in their own capital.

What is the true feeling among the populace?

I am really struggling with my faith. I struggle with crippling anxiety and ocd and have not been able to bring myself to mass. Should I feel guilty or does God understand?

I sometimes flinch or twitch or even make a squeaking noise when I have a bad intrusive thought

I am amazed at how humbling this disease can be

They literally all just copy each other. If you aren’t going to do something creative whats difference between their videos and slop?

I got my teaching license in 2020 and have taught German, ENL, and Business at the high school level.

I have two masters (teaching enl and an mba) but have struggled to stay in a job in teaching because I have really bad OCD and anxiety.

Yes, technically they can’t fire you if you have a disability but these asshole admin just find another reason.

Even though my students always like me and I like writing business articles on my substack in my spare time , I was at peace with leaving k-12 teaching and going into business and teaching college undergrad on the side (hence why I got the MBA)

Unfortunately, there is a problem. I have no tangible business experience. I have never worked in private business (aside from country clubs etc) and many companies wont hire me without experience.

Even worse, this has the trickle down effect of colleges not wanting to hire me because I don’t have business experience.

It seems like my only option left is either to stay in teaching (🤢) or take an entry level job at a business that won’t pay my bills (I am 33).

It is really frustrating because I feel so ashamed to even date or tell people what I am doing professionally because there is so up in the air with my life and my OCD.

Can someone here give me guidance on how to proceed?

Although I am getting therapy, TMS treatment and medication, my sister called me to tell me I was not welcomed at their son’s baptism.

I was hospitalized 4 months ago because of my ocd and have been doing better but this is a heavy blow.

I don’t date and have no plans to have a family because I am solely focused on recovery. I love her kids and they love playing with me.

In solidarity with me, my parents said they are refusing to go to the baptism which makes me even sadder that my family is being torn apart because of me and my illness

This just makes me want to cry

Peak bald and bankrupt centered around the former ussr. Now that he did that and is banned from russia it just seems like bald is running out of content

I don’t mind donating but it irks me that this organization sells my blood to make a profit.

Its not even worth trying to playful court a girl anymore in my opinion because it becomes some whole problem. The most annoying thing is that most girls (and even some soy boy guys) can be so gossipy It’s honestly easier to just have friends and to enjoy life as a bachelor. Am I wrong?

For the record by flirting and courting I do not mean doing anything creepy or illegal

First, it would be silly to say that everyone does not have shit in their lives to deal with.

That being said, as someone with severe Harm OCD I really resent people without ocd because they can live their lives.

They can play with their nephews and nieces without getting thoughts of strangling them.

They can shop at a store without thoughts of pulling their pants down.

They can talk to people of other races and not have an urge to say a racial slur

They can sit next to someone and not have an urge to punch them.

I am 33. I have done so much ERP AND medication and these thoughts still won’t go away. I just don’t want a long life because this is terrible

It is literally the dumbest fear and drives me crazy that I have it

I am not really sure what people are paying these people. Am I wrong?

I cannot get stripe set up. It keeps asking for a f-ing passcode that i dont have. Do they not want to make money?

Although not all people are like this, it seems striking how many men (both on the show and off) are looking abroad to find love.

It seems that a lot of girls (not all) have super high expectations when it comes to men and when you look at the emergence of AI and rising prices most guys just cannot meet those demands.

Whether its right or wrong, I feel like this creates a lot of resentment on the part of the guys which leads to them resenting women.

While some guys are able to find love abroad, I feel like 90 day fiancé also exposes how many people are trying to take advantage of these Westerner’s desperation and often have unrealistic expectations of how rich Americans are.

Do you agree or disagree?

I feel like there are a lot (not all) administrators who think they are hot shots and all powerful. A lot of times this comes out in teacher observations when someone that has no idea about a subject or the day to day composition of a classroom thinks they know better than the teacher in the trenches each day

I feel like most people got into the profession to help students and have a steady job. But teaching can often be the opposite of that. In reality it often is doing whatever it takes to appease a principal knowing that the slightest thing risks putting you on their shit list
