First RV Trip to Yellowstone in August – Where Can I Park Overnight?

Hi everyone!

I'm planning a trip to Yellowstone this August in an RV. My main goal is to see Old Faithful and explore some of the other must-see spots in the park.

One thing I'm not sure about is where I can park the RV overnight. Are there designated RV campgrounds inside or near the park that I should reserve in advance? If so, which ones would you recommend?

Also, if you have any suggestions for the best places to visit or any tips for an August RV trip to Yellowstone, I'd really appreciate them.

Thanks!

Why does my homemade salsa verde go bad after just a few days in the fridge?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been making salsa verde at home, but it keeps going bad after just a few days in the fridge. It starts smelling bad and growing mold.
I store it in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator. During meals, I open the container, take some salsa out, and put it back in the fridge.
My recipe is pretty simple. I cook tomatillos, garlic, onion, and serrano peppers in a pot with a splash of oil for a few minutes. Then I blend everything together with culantro. After blending, I add taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there something in my process that could be causing it to spoil so quickly?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Best camping or lodging options for hiking the Mist Trail?

Hi all,

I’m thinking about visiting Yosemite soon, mainly because I really want to hike the Mist Trail.

I’m okay with either camping for 2 nights or staying somewhere nearby, but I’m not sure where I should be looking. Which campgrounds or places to stay would you recommend if I want easy access to the Mist Trail? any website or place whould be great.

This will be my first time visiting Yosemite, so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

How to clean this

Found this old Farberware stainless/aluminum-clad pan. What’s the best way to remove the oxidation, discoloration, and burnt residue without making the scratches worse?
Thank you

Learning skate at age 36 with a coach

Hi everyone,

My wife wants to start learning skating (roller skating), and we’ve been trying to find a good coach or beginner-friendly instructor around Sunnyvale. We’re also open to Palo Alto, Mountain View, Cupertino, or San Jose.

I searched online, but honestly I couldn’t find many clear options or personal recommendations. If anyone knows a good private coach, classes, or even local groups that are beginner friendly, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Any good live shows in LA these days?

I’ll be in LA for a couple of days, mostly around Venice, Santa Monica, and Irvine, and I was wondering if there are any good live shows happening these days.

I’m not really looking for musical theater. More interested in classic-style performances, plays, comedy, jazz/blues clubs, old Hollywood vibe stuff, or anything unique/local that’s worth experiencing.

Open to recommendations!

Looking for human-labeled English ↔ Spanish translation datasets

Hi everyone,

I’m building an LLM judge to evaluate English-to-Spanish translations, and I’m looking for datasets that contain English/Spanish pairs with human annotations or quality labels.

I don’t speak Spanish myself, so I’m can not evalute the llm judges:)

Does anyone know good public datasets for this?
Thanks!

I interviewed with Apple recently and I’m a bit confused about what’s going on.

I went through the hiring manager round, a coding round, and then a full loop (6 interviews). My last interview was on April 16, so it’s been about 2 weeks now.

I’ve sent two follow-ups to the recruiter but haven’t heard anything back at all.

Is this normal? Should I be worried, or does it sometimes just take this long?
