Had an amazing time at Fanexpo Chicago this year. I was able to meet The Hobbits, John Rhys Davis, Karl Urban, Frank Miller, Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo and Pornsak Pichetshote - All super nice and really great to chat with AND they all signed comics and other items for me. I was able to pick up some comics I had been hunting for for a long time and a few new event exclusives.
Found this grail at Fanexpo Chicago. It has Quintana's signature, but I'm going for Snyder tomorrow. We couldn't crack it. I took it home, sawed off the corner, popped a flathead in there and the whole thing came off clean. Good luck to all you others. These things are tough as hell....
While I have you here. PSA - change your label it looks like UI error messaging. Like I entered in the wrong date of birth. CGC and PSA and all you other graders; Please make a slab that only showcases the comic- maybe with the grade on the edges or the back. Let the comics sing. Like a gallery edition or something... anyway cheers!

I’m getting several autographs throughout the weekend, but will also be looking to get autographs from Scott Snyder and I heard those two lines are different. How long are the vip lines compared to regular lines?

Here's my SIGI King Mini and the Blackening treatment after one year of love and intense sparring. Obviously there is wear, but it gives it so much character. As far as the sword goes, it's incredible, SHORT, but very sturdy. I think I've only filed maybe two burs off this thing (at most).
I haven't done too much sparring with the Queen so I'll post again to compare the brass treatment when the time comes. Forgive the lighting. The original round of photos was taken on a sunny day and it's cloudy outside today.
We had a big weekend of classes at our Guild Family Gathering, many of which included Sword & Board so I painted my rotella as an homage to Ray Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts skeleton warriors. It WAS A BLAST. Acrylic & matte sealant on one of those modern riot shields (I intend to replace the handle with a strap in the future)
