basically idc about the dcu, despite many on this sub seem to love. superman was mid, creature commandos was actually pretty cool, havent watched anything else. it doesnt look like this franchise is gonna do that well, but imo its not relevant to the discussion. the snyderverse was seen as a disspoinment by wb back in its day, im not even gonna talk about the reviews cause thats beating a dead horse. i also doubt snyder has the status to pick up creative control of a popular franchise like dc (movies), since his other stuff that came afterwards: army of the dead, rebel moon, and that norse mythology cartoon, didnt really crack the mainstream, so its not like you bring nolan for his name alone to direct your movies. imo what dc should do is focus on stand alone entries, similar to the dark knight trilogy or the matt reeves batman movies, where they can exist in a bubble and dont have to fit in some cinematic universe. anyways feel free to disagree idc im just waiting for the batman pt ii and knightfall Tldr: the snyderverse is done no mather whats gonna happen to the gunnverse
