Ms. Pixel got an upgrade to her bed. A full sized elevated wooden one! Hopefully this helps take some pressure off her old lady hips and she gets plenty of rest.

I PERSONALLY wanted it pushed up against the wall because it looks better there - but SOMEONNEEEE likes it over to the side and right in front of the balcony sliding door. So I guess we'll just live our lives with a bed in front of the door and shimmy around it when we want to go outside.

Ive never seen her more relaxed and melted than this probably the best investment for her happiness in a long time.

Just a small celebration post.

Ms. Pixel has been having some hip problems lately and walking issues. The vet said "well it may be neurological..."

So we got a genetics test to test for the markers for Degenerative Myleopathy.

Took 2 weeks for results but they came back negative!!! This was a huge relief to learn that ultimately shes just getting old not sick 😭😭😭

Advice needed or at least someone to tell me im being silly.

My girl, Pixel, is getting old. 10yrs old this year.

Shes lost 1 eye to cancer and her hips are starting to bother her. I can tell that shes having trouble pushing herself up off the dog beds every day. not too much trouble but I can see her push herself up with more effort than usual.

Ive started her on cosequin every morning and praying that helps her live a longer and happier and more playful life.

We go for daily walks still and sometimes twice-daily. But even on those I can tell she's slowing down and sometimes walking just an extra step behind me more than usual... ((getting teary eyes just typing it out!!!))

But I worry the floor-beds aren't helping her any. She absolutely loves sleeping on my human bed as you can see in the photo. I went for my nightly shower and she was passed out across my mattress.

Would it be silly of me to toss out some of her dog beds and get her a toddler bed frame and mattress?? Would that help her hips and make getting up-and-down not as much of a struggle? Is it just that crazy dog-owner mentality of a dog needing a human toddler bed??

I swear I waste money on dog beds when all she uses them for are pillows

Probably the best bone I've ever bought for my heavy chewer.

The bone takes her DAYS to chew. And then when you have that nub left at the end that you always confiscate so they dont choke and die you can soak it in water and microwave it. It puffs up and becomes a cronchy treat so none of it gets wasted!!

I agree with the sentiment he's sharing. TCG is overpriced.

But a store manager should know better. Theres a time and place for these rants. I just kind of wonder how these people dont get fired for these posts on in-company platforms...

The 2.0 upgrade is actually pretty impressive.

I doubt you can tell in a screen shot but once youre in-game and start moving around everything is soooooo smooth.

When I tell you this game is ZELDA WITH A LOTR SKIN!!!!

I was too young to even care about the hobbit in 2003 and I didn't get into LOTR at all until my 30s.

But this game is an actual GEM

a hidden Arkenstone of a game if you will.

Its been an very crazy 10yrs. She lost an eye to cancer last year but we made it through.

Not a lot of dogs make it this far or even past 10 so im very grateful that she's still silly and full of life

The plastic has gotten so soft over the years

Who knows. But 4th of July might affect these hours.
