Finally got 70mm Dune tix for Dallas

oH my god. That was life or death...

Site would die inbetween selecting seats and check out, and every so often my cart would clear. Had to have the checkout open in one window and Choosing a Seat page in another, refreshed the seating page until it came back online and IMMEDIATELY checked out in my other window. Finally got them after an hour and a half of trying... and so many pending charges on my card.,, Jeezus. Omg. Goodluck yall..

[TW] Gigantomastia surgery as a trans NB in Texas? Would Washington state HMO/PPO be easier to work with?

I'm set for my first T shot monday. I was in the works of trying to get a breast reduction approved (not full removal nor radical reduction). My ortho XRAY'd my neck and my joints are positioned incorrectly from the weight of my chest, along with infections that can last weeks or over a month on my skin. I was referred to a gender-focused plastic surgeon in Dallas but my HMO insurance denied me from doing the consultation. I don't know if this is just a texas thing, but it sounds it is extremely difficult to get a breast reduction covered in TX if you're also trans. I am a little wary of non-LGBT surgeons that may not understand how testosterone also affects breasts, maybe I'm getting a little too OCD over that detail.. Was already debating on moving to Washington state and looking into it, it seems like it's a lot easier to get a reduction covered even if you're trans there, and it seems like they have more LGBT friendly clinics that cover reduction. In Texas, at least with my HMO, it seems like they REALLY don't want you to get a reduction covered if you're trans. At the very least I got a referral for PT x.x and wegovy so I can knock my BMI down. Not sure if the latter is what got me denied? I guess I figured I could at least get a consultation. Going into all this blind.

Anyone else been in a similar boat? It's been tough finding stories from anyone else getting a partial reduction/lift.

Emailed IMAX and Cinemark requesting more Screenings of Dune and Odyssey

Dallas Cinemark IMAX is completely sold out of Dune tickets! It's only screening for four days.

And even with Odyssey's extension, advanced tickets are already almost sold out. I just saw it last night and it blew me away, hoping we get more screenings because I absolutely want to take my friends with me. Not keen on front row seats hahahhaa.

Emailed both cinemark and IMAX customer support. Hoping maybe more people have spoken up as well. They gotta know people wanna see this stuff now!

Did rates change?? (US -> CANADA)

the shipping the buyer paid for reappears when I increase the height of the package to 5 inches, I don't mind switching from padded envelope to boxes but it's so weird. I haven't changed my shipping profiles in years and have had orders to Canada before.

Did something change?

Anyone used FurMarket? (JP)

Background: made my first fursuit in the early 2010s off of a DVC base back when matrices tutorials were super popular and there were only two (or three) vetted vendors in the US to get fur from LOL. Now that fursuit making has gotten a lot more accessible thinking about giving it another try now that I'm older and have patience to sew x'D

I was randomly recommended this supplier on my feed, scrolling through their posts I saw they had a line of fur from K-Line (i think??). They also have stretch fabric as well, and zenmarket is set up on their site. Super curious if anyone here has gotten their samples or used any of fur from this vendor.

Klip Dagga vendors?

Any recommendations on good vendors for Klip Dagga (US)? My local shop used to carry wild dagga but no longer does. Tinctures or herbs are okay!

Somewhat related, are dagga salves a thing that exist? Is it an herb that works as a topical?

DFW area & the 10 year rule

Any fav campgrounds in that general area? Fiance and I are looking into getting a 2014-2016 A class rig as our first to see if we like the RV life, but I get a little worried about locking ourselves out of some campgrounds. We don't care much for the "resorts". I mean RV parks like KOA and other campgrounds like it.

Shady Creek RV Park up north looks really nice, there is also a nice state park by lewisville lake, Pilot Knoll Park😄

I'd love to hear more from yall if you have any fav RV parks that don't ask/don't tell when it comes to pulling up and checking in with a (nice & well taken care of) older rig in DFW TX

Manu asking for more?

First time not using Vograce, trying a different daki manu. I had already paid for the order + shipping. And I can cover this new amount but I'm surprised they didn't catch this earlier :o

I had already ordered & had gotten photos of samples before continuing with a larger order. I just know I've seen bewares like this on the ali subreddit lol.

Does this happen to y'all occasionally?

Blurred out their names but I can share in DM. They seemed pretty legit. I think they're being genuine giving a reason why, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here. Not sure if they forgot to account for my bulk order + 5 samples when calculating shipping? I also requested DDP, if that matters.

Cheese melting while cold??

Not really a complaint just asking if this is normal 😄

Does this usually happen with kroger shredded cheese in the fridge? I don't think it's mold but my main worry is it just looking "wet", I guess cuz it's all melted together? Not sure if maybe the bottom of my fridge isn't getting cold enough heh 😅

My fiance got pick up and I guess they're under new management!

Dunno if maybe today was a fluke, but the fried rice wasn't as tasty, less umami/less greasy 🥹 (sad). Maybe today was a bad day for fried rice, but figured I'd post this cuz the dine in deal is friggin great.
