Proper B12 & supplements?

Anxious/hypochondriac person here trying to figure out whether B12 deficiency could explain my symptoms despite “normal” blood tests.

Main symptoms: brain fog, tingling/buzzing hands and feet, restlessness, insomnia, fatigue, things falling out of my hands, panic attacks.

Currently taking magnesium bisglycinate, D3+K2, Zn/Cu and occasional L-theanine. Tried ashwagandha, hated it.

Bought Jamieson B6+B12+folic acid: B6 75mg, B12 (cyanocobalamin) 150mcg, folic acid 800mcg

Planning to try 3 tablets/day. Unfortunately I cannot get i.m. B12 injections where I live.

Also worried because last week I had nitrous oxide at a dental appointment and later read it can affect B12 metabolism. Can one-off dental N2O realistically cause neurologically significant B12 issues, or is that mostly repeated/heavy exposure or severe pre-existing deficiency?

Also:

- is 3 tablets/day enough?

- should I supplement anything else alongside it?

- is cyanocobalamin enough or should I look for methyl/hydroxo forms?

Thanks!

Hi, is there any way to get Discord alerts/notifications for specific keywords across servers/channels, even when I’m not tagged or mentioned?

For example, if someone anywhere mentions things like “designer”, “XYZ”, specific names, topics etc., I’d get a desktop/mobile notification.

Ideally without needing admin rights on the servers. What are people using for this nowadays?

Thanks!

43M, around 220 lb. Recently had a hypertension episode, most likely caused by work stress. I’m now on pendopril arginine, an ACE inhibitor and my BP is currently staying below 130/80.

I’m getting back to training: usually 3x/week, about 1 hour total, treadmill walking + full-body gym routine. I’ve never really trained by heart-rate zones before.

Before the hypertension episode, I had a supervised bike stress test. Fitness result was good, above 120% of expected difficulty for my age, but at high load my systolic BP climbed to around 240. Doctor said it wasn’t dangerous in that test context, but that hypertension could have been noticeable under load.

What HR range would you use for getting back into cardio safely? Mostly Zone 2? Using 220-age, my estimated max HR is about 177, so Zone 2 would be roughly 106-124 bpm.

Any practical tips for treadmill + full-body lifting while keeping BP under control?

Thanks
