The pink line is the "correct" path; there are multiple signs and a big arrow painted on the road indicating you must turn into the the gas station parking lot on the corner if you get into the rightmost lane before the first set of lights. If you're going to turn right at the bottom intersection you have to stay in the second-to-right lane and then get over in between the two intersections.

The problem is that almost half of drivers ignore the signs, get over into the rightmost lane immediately, and then proceed through the intersection in the turn lane following the blue line. This forces drivers in the second lane to merge with them in a very short space to get to the turn lane for the second intersection. People frequently get angry, honk, and accelerate to block merging even though they're the ones that disobeyed the signs and markings. It's stressful and difficult and both roads are very busy and congested in the morning. What would you do?

Do my coworkers know they're allowed to throw things away eventually?

If I’m gonna be the one who cleans up around here then the rest of the department should feel free to visit my whimsical emporium anytime they need a USB or Ethernet cable
