I grew up in the 90s and 2000s and we had the right amount of tech. We had it but it didn't control our lives as much.

As I look around me I see people with their head down staring into their virtual world on their phones. We wake up and check out phones. Bombarded by left / right views, scare mongering on the news 24/7.

Mark Zukerberg is even trying to create a meta world😵

Friend groups are online, dating is online, The abilty to access any porn you want by the click of a button.

It feels like we are being pushed on purpose into a direction that isnt good for humanity.

Food that is filled with colouring and chemicals and high amounts of sugar.

Drug use is out of control and apart of the culture now.

Music industry pushing songs that glorifying stabbings and drug dealing.

Doom scrolling on social media, fake body image targeting at young people.

Everyone has a video so if you made a mistake its there for everyone to see forever.

People don't seem to interact like they used to. Like they hide their true selfs from the world.

Idk maybe i'm getting old

So I managed go get alot of construction tickets through a goverment scheme.

Asbestos awareness

Working from heights

I recieved these tickets two years back and a few are going to expire and I haven't used any of them!

Jobs won't give me a chance even though I have all the tickets because I don't have experience.

I applied everywhere. Even went to building sites and asked the foreman in person. Showing abit of get up and go... still nothing.

So i'm stuck in a basic min wage job and i really don't know how to get ahead. If I train in something else I will just face the " No experience line "

Any ideas would be grand

I'm new to selling and i noticed 90 of people on vinted are doing what everyone else is. Selling to make abit of profit. So buying off vinted to sell back on vinted isn't going to gst me far.

Where do people source items ? And from your opinion what is the best items thst keep their value?

So i'm a 34 year old male in the UK and i'm stuck back at my parents. No kids... no anything really.

Things are so expensive in the UK at the moment I can barely get buy even though i'm back at home....

I'm trained in Groundwork but can't find a job because i don't have experience in actually doing it... i have the tickets through a goverment program like forward tipping dumper, Roller. If i landed one of these job i would be on £18 an hour easy.

But.... I work a minimum wage job packing vitamins and my army application has been deffered on medical grounds again. So i'm writing that off as not happening.

As there isn't any construction jobs that i can get around here ( I live in a town far from a city) i'm stuck in a hole.

No idea what to so but I need to get out of it and start my life again. I'm not lazy or anything either. I cook my own food, wash my clothes clean, work, gym, don't drink.

I even went around and handed my CV into building sites and chased up decision makers and ....nothing.

Any advice from outside my pit of despair would be appreciated 😄

So I have a few questions about Free Masonary and would like to get answers from actual masons if you would be so kind.

Do all Masonic lodges share the same rules/ practices? Like will lodges in Australia do things different than lodges in the UK?

I was told my a Mason once it's not a Secret society but a Society with secrets. So is it just like a working mens/ communty place where you feel part of the community kind of thing?

Do Masons look for new Members themselves? Like " James is a good lad, i will ask if he wants to join ect" ?

Famous and some important people are Masons. Do they go to a special lodge since they are considered VIPs?

Do you all help each other out? Like would a business contract be awarded to a Mason vs a Non Mason?

How is progression done in the lodge? Is it by merrit or by time and age?

Do the Conspiracy theorists give you a hard time? Any harrasment by someone who believes you read minds and perform scary rituals ? 😄

I know lodges would of had historical people belong to them like Col Sanders and Bramwell Bronte. Are they reveared any more than the next lodge because someone famous once attented there. Sort of like how people visit houses of dead poets and generals.

I'm from Northern England and we don't have many Jewish People around my area, if any actually.

Most of the Information / exposure to Jewish culture is from the media ( American Films) and Instagram. Amongst the internet are some wild claims about Jewish people, that stop just short of breathing fire and reading minds.

After reading bits of History of the the Jewish people and finding their outlook on life/ family/ god to be quite refreshing and interesting. I thought I would ask a few questions to actual Jewish people on your Culture if you would be so kind.

I apologize if any questions come across as ignorant.

1. I read that Jews don't believe in Hell or eternal damnation.
2. After being persecuted through the ages, do the Jews hold resentment towards Christians? I read some accounts and the Christians were pretty brutal every time.
3. Do Jews see Christianity and Islam as religions under the same umbrella as Judaism ? Like the same religion just different way of worship.
4. Do Jews see themselves as Jewish ethnicity or as a religion or both?

Like If you were born in America would you class yourself as American or an American Jew ect

5. Can Jews marry outside of the faith or is it quite strict.

6. Why does the Jewish faith encourage Science ,medicine and learning. whilst other religions tried to shun and hinder Science.

7. Alot of Jewish people have their own Businesses. Is this because of a drive to be independant and not to relay on others for income as historically Jews were exempt from owning almost everything.

8. do Jewish peoppe think they are gods Chosen people? or all Abrahamic religions are gods chosen people.

9. how do you guys deal with the rampant anti semitism and conspiracies that are online and i assume creep into daily / interactions
