Hey guys, I'm a dropper preparing for both NEET and NEST this year.

I am confused about which coaching modules to buy for Biology. Since NEET is highly NCERT-centric, but NEST requires a deeper, more analytical and experimental understanding, I need something that can bridge the gap for both. Which of these would be the best fit?

Aakash (heard they are great for Bio) ALLEN PW / Unacademy

Any advice from seniors or fellow droppers would be a lifesaver.

Nest takes the best 3 subjects marks. So if I do Bio Physics and Chemistry. Can I Mark completely random answers in math??

And I just saw the SMAS cuttoff clearance thing, so the cutoff is basically not more than 9 marks in each subject (5 for physics). So even attemptjng 2 3 ques right will guarantee admission kr what?

With IAT on 7 June and NEST on 6 June, my anxiety is at an all-time high. 😅

I've been preparing for months, but as the exam gets closer, I keep feeling like I haven't done enough. Some moments I feel confident, and the next moment I'm doubting everything.

Just wanted to know if others are feeling the same way. How are you managing the stress and last-minute revision?

Any one on the sub with 97-99 percentile(JEE Mains) and preferred ICT Mumbai over NITs? Could you please help me understand what made you choose ICT over the NITs? I am lowkey confused regarding ICT , am Mumbai MR resident.

Got 98.5 tile in JEE Mains, MH Candidate. Prolly getting chemical in SVNIT or VNIT via Josaa, also considering ICT Mumbai Chemical due to its long standing reputation. Is it worthwhile coming here? What are the placements like? I sometimes feel this college is not as hyped up like the NITs or IITs.

How is the peer group and research culture like? College life?

Since many of us prepare of NEST and dream about breaking into NISER or CEBS, I was looking for subreddit exclusively for NEST exam. But I struggled to find one. We need a separate subreddit for NEST exam to avoid the clutter and discuss exclusively for NEST. This will also reduce the burden and the mess of this sub.

Think about it, all peers dedicated to NEST. This will not only help each other but also boost morale and discuss the colleges and stuff. We can be in touch and legit prep for NEST, which is different in texture from the IAT.

So, I had decided to create it myself: r/NestBirdies , a subreddit to push us all into hatching out of comfort zone and fly the open, serene sky of NISER and CEBS with flying colours. Lets make this a big one and W to all of you relentlessly preparing for NEST. Many of us have had a long journey before this. Drifting from the prep journeys of JEE/NEET we carry the lesson and trauma these exams have given us. Now, its time to materialise that into cracking the NEST exam.
