My cat being a silly billy

I have the PSVR with my PS4 that I use from time to time. I’ve noticed that my car has decided to use the cable as a chew toy. My mistake for leaving it within reach. I’m hoping you guys can help me with a solution (getting rid of the cat is not an option as I love this little Tasmanian devil). It’s the cable that runs out of the headset itself. I know it’s an older unit so replacing it should be fairly inexpensive. I’m also adept with soldering and DIY so I could also go that direction. Have you any recommendations?
I have a rescue that has been moved around a lot. She absolutely hates crates and I don’t blame her. I need to know all the tips and tricks to get her into a crate. I’ve attempted putting snacks and treats. It almost worked but now she knows the trick and won’t even attempt to eat anything from inside the crate. She’s an escape artist, I’ve attempted to scoop her with and without a towel. That just ends with both of us exhausted and me covered in scratches. I need her to get comfortable with the idea. Do I just put our feelings aside and fight her into it? Do I sedate her?
Please help.
I have a Pioneer VSX 933 with a 5.1 speaker layout. I have recently gone down the rabbit hole attempting to get the most out of my AV receiver. I use a smart TV for most of my viewing needs. The audio is being routed through my receiver. I am using eARC and high quality HDMI cables. I am finding that the dialogue very difficult to understand as it gets washed out by other audio.
I am looking for two things here:
How do I make the dialogue understandable without blasting my volume to the moon?
Any tips and pointers on how to get the most out of my Pioneer VSX 933.
If you need any more specific information, please ask.
My cat is currently laying on my desk as I type this and I am witnessing her taking short breaths in quick succession. It is warm in my apartment right now as I do not have AC so could the heat be bothering her? She is an all around active and healthy cat and I haven't had cats in so long so I am hoping someone here can assist me. I am not looking for a medical prognosis, I am just asking if anybody has encountered this and what I should be aware of.
I wired up a toggle switch to a 120VAC - 5VDC transformer. Everything works well I’m just wondering why it flickers when I turn it off. It’s powering 6 5VDC LEDs. The transformer is good for up to 150W. I’ve mounted the transformer using 6-32 bolts with nuts acting as spacers to ensure that the warm transformer isn’t sitting directly on the combustible material. The lights themselves use about 60W so taking into consideration the power loss I shouldn’t be anywhere near the 80% capacity of the transformer. I imagine the l flickering to be more of a feature then a concern but I thought I’d ask nonetheless
I work as an electrical apprentice. I’ve uploaded a few electrical reference textbooks to the meta AI app. I can’t seem to get meta to recognize them when I ask for information on the fly. I always need to open up the app, access the chart I’ve saved the textbooks into, and then ask the question in the app. Is there any way to make this process easier?
