SAHMs what does your husband do for work so you can stay home comfortably?

I’m just curious and wondering what other SAHMs husbands do for work. My husband owns a business + does real estate investing. And I stay home with our three littles💓

F26 SAHM planning to go back to school. Who has the "dream job" for flexibility, low commute stress, and leftover mental bandwidth

I are looking into potential career shifts. I’m F26 currently a sahm planning to go back to school. I am trying to figure out which fields offer the absolute best flexibility, lowest commute stress, and best mental bandwidth left over at the end of the day to actually enjoy home life.

Who has the "dream job" in terms of flexibility and lack of stress, and what is it?

F25 married to husband M33 I feel like a glorified “bangmaid” idk what to do

My husband and I have three young kids together and have been married for 5 years. We have some issues in are marriage but overall it’s fine i’m a SAHM with lots of help which he makes sure I have and i’m very thankful for the help. I’ve been feeling like I rushed my life got married really young and then had my first kid at 21 and he was 29. He has his own business in trades so that’s how he supports us. I also have my own income so I’m not trapped financially. My days start almost every morning with him wanting to have sex before he goes to work. Even if I was sleeping in one of our kids bed to help them sleep he will come and get me in the morning just so that we can sex. During the days I cook, clean, take care of our kids with the help of my MIL which I love her (she lives in our basement MIL suite so it’s private and separate from the rest of the house) We also have sex every night and atleast twice a week I give him a bj because it relaxes him. He does a good job at “warming me up” before initiating sex because he knows his success rate will be higher. I love our kids and want maybe one more but I also don’t want another one for a while since all our 3 kids are under the age of 5. He wants more and all the kids we can have and I feel like he has a “breeding” kink?? And loves me to have his kids. I feel blessed in some ways but in other ways I feel like a bang maid. I don’t know what to do I feel lost in my identity

My family is now looking for live in nanny

Looking for input we’ve never had a live in employee, we originally though we would have someone part time 25-30 hours a week but we’ve realized we’re looking for more all day (10 hours a day) 9am-7pm and most likely living with our family. The nanny will have their own private living space (private bedroom, a full bathroom, a kitchenette and a separate exterior entrance). I have posted prior about the responsibilities and expectations which would be:

•Assist with infant care (holding, soothing, feeding support)

• Play with and supervise toddler

• Engage children in age appropriate activities and play

• Support a calm, structured daily routine

• Provide occasional short periods (2–4 hours) of independent childcare while I attend errands, appointments, or the gym

Light child related household tasks:

• Tidying toys and play areas

• Cleaning up after kids meals

• Preparing simple meals/snacks for the children

Bonus: bilingual speaking candidates are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $35–$40/hour (W-2)

• Overtime 1.5x pay after 40 hours

• Guaranteed hours

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 days paid vacation and 5 paid sick days

•Paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

• Health insurance stipend $200-$500/month

•Annual bonus (5%-10% of annual salary)

I have some concerns with having someone live in our house 24/7, I’m unsure what age range of nanny to except, a younger nanny aged 20-35? Or aged 35+ nanny? How do we set boundaries both ways as employers to the nanny? And is 10 hours too long? Should we do a trial run before committing? Should we ask for certain time period of minimum commitment? Currently have my MIL living with us which has been a true luxury she’s leaving soon so I’d want someone to replace her.

Living in a gated community in the USA. Is actually safer, or is it a psychological illusion? What are the pros and cons?

I’m asking about a gated community with full-time security (Manned) and there’s no keypad or passcode. It’s someone having to let you in individually. Which would be a hassle going in for guests, ect, but would that be worth it and with that set up would it actually be more more safe? versus if you just live in normal suburban area with no gates or security? Also does living in a gated community with security make you more of a target I can definitely see that being possible.
