Looking Down?

Will I ever be able to look down again? I was learning guitar but I had to stop due to this. Was wondering if anyone successfully strengthened their neck/body to the point where they could look down again without feeling dizzy or instigating that heavy dull feeling on your head.

How long before PT works?

Hello all,

My dizziness does not appear to be related to any major cervical misalignment. It seems more likely to be related to issues such as impaired neuromuscular control, tight neck/shoulder muscles, posture, and altered cervical proprioception/sensorimotor function.

I recently started doing:
- VOR/gaze stabilization exercises
- laser-guided cervical proprioception tracking exercises

I was curious how long it took others to start noticing improvement from PT and vestibular/cervical rehab. I know everyone responds differently, but I’d love to hear:
- how long it took before you noticed progress
- whether improvement was gradual or more sudden

Thank you!

200mg SR + Adderall XR 15mg at the same time?

Hi there I just went down from 300 XL to 200mg SR (100 mg twice a day). I'm finding that I'm having insomnia with the second dose.

Is it okay to take both SR doses at the same time + my adderall XR 15mg?

I'm thinking maybe I need to lower my Adderall dose?

I was having slight memory loss, mild derealization (like I was too chill), and also mild apathy (loss of motivation).

Do you think it makes sense to go on 150 XL or can i take the 200mg SR along with my adderall all at once?

I’ve been taking 300 mg XL of Wellbutrin XL for about three months. While it has helped me significantly with emotional regulation, which has been a lifelong challenge, I have started noticing some side effects, including memory issues, apathy, and mild dissociation.

For those who have reduced their dose from 300 mg XL to 150 mg XL, did you still experience the same emotional regulation benefits?

I’m having trouble remembering how I felt at 150 mg. I think it helped, but I’m not completely sure how effective it was compared to my current dose.

I’m also wondering if switching to bupropion SR at 200 mg might be a good middle ground, so I can stay below 300 mg but still get more benefit than 150 mg.

I’m starting Strattera next week and planning to begin at 25 mg to see how I tolerate it over the first month. I’ve read that Wellbutrin can increase the effects of Strattera, so I’m trying to be mindful of that. For those who’ve been on both, did you lower your Wellbutrin when starting Strattera, or keep it the same?

Longer term, I’m wondering if it’s possible to taper off Wellbutrin as I gradually increase the Strattera dose. I know they overlap a bit in how they work, but I’m not sure how interchangeable they actually are in practice.

I’ve also seen that Strattera was originally studied as an antidepressant. For those with experience, do you feel its antidepressant or anti-anxiety effects are strong enough to replace Wellbutrin over time?

I’m currently on 300 mg Wellbutrin XL

TL;DR: Starting Strattera 25 mg while on 300 mg Wellbutrin—should I lower my Wellbutrin, and is it possible to taper off it over time if Strattera works?

Hi all — is anyone incorporating vestibular or balance exercises into their PT routine? If so, which ones have you found helpful?

I’ve noticed that strengthening my deep neck flexors significantly improves my symptoms, and I suspect that releasing tight trapezius muscles (e.g., through massage) may also help, since muscle tension seems to be a contributing factor.

Given that my dizziness appears to be more muscle related, I’m unsure how beneficial vestibular or balance focused exercises would be in my case.

Thank you!

Recently I’ve been finding great success in supine chin tucks to help treat my cervicogenic dizziness.

I was wondering if anyone with more experience could provide advice on how to perform chin tucks better so they’re effectively targeting the deep neck flexors and not the SCM or suprahyoid muscles?

Thank you!
